BECAREFULSIGNINGUPFORNEWPRODUCTS, THEYWILLSCAMYOU! So I thought at first I had a good experience with this location, but boy was I wrong. I just signed up a new plan as I upgraded to a new phone, they threw in an offer to give me a bunch of accessories and an LG tablet, all in exchange for my old phone. I took the deal, but I MADEITVERYCLEAR that I did not want my tablet to have any data plans as I would only use it at home on the wifi, I had no reason to add to it to the data plan. The Verizon rep NAMEDULYSSES was the person who set me up, I wish I would have known he was lying to me when he said it would not be on my data plan. I looked at my bill and sure enough, a $ 10 charge/month service fee was on my bill!!! I was totally outraged, but thought it would easily be fixed. I called the Verizon CS number since the store was closed, and spoke with a rep who pretended to care, but only for a brief second. He explained that the tablet has a SIM card in it to access Verizon data towers(you know, the ones I said I didn’t want access too!!). He said it would be a $ 350 service fee to end the«contract on that phone number» which is not even a phone number, it’s just a tablet! He said there was nothing he could do and«just go back to the store and talk to them about it». GREAT, now I can go back and wait and hour in their crappy«lounge» area and then probably just get the same information from another person who doesn’t really care about their customers. I am so disgusted, this is a TOTALSCAM. I will be filing complaints with the BBB and I could almost bet NOONEWILLMAKETHISRIGHT.
