I hired them to move a sofa I purchased online to my house and move the existing sofa to the garage. When I called I asked for a noon pick up time at the first location, she told me they didn’t have that available only a 1:30 with a 3 man team, so it would cost more than a 2 man team, I said ok. They called me at 12:40 saying they were almost to the location to pick up the sofa, I said it was to be at 1:30, there sheet said anytime between noon & 1:30, so we had to hurry to the location and the owner had to hurry to the location. When we arrived at our house, they had to move the existing sofa to the garage on the same floor, they couldn’t get it to fit and had to take off the door to the garage, we told them when it was moved in by Black Belt movers 2 months ago they had no problem. After they left I looked at my almost new red leather sofa they had put in the garage, it was covered with tears and scuff marks, I had a buyer who wanted to buy it and now they don’t want it because it is all scratched up. So I lost out on $ 500 dollar for the sale of my sofa and had to pay them to move them. I have called them 3 times and no one will call me back.

The staff was extremely professional, hard working and QUICK! We were super impressed with the extra care they took into moving our things. Highly recommend Jims moving company!

Tried to contact this company to get a quote about a move. It’s been about a week and they have not gotten back to me. I’ve e-​mailed and called and no one has gotten back to me. I guess they don’t want any business?
On to the next company…

I was calling Saturday afternoon about 1:00 and called there business, which is open from 8 – 5 pm. Called no answer, but able to leave a message, well I left two messages, regarding a purchased piano at an estate sale. Well I left a message and no one got back to me, I always say this, if no one calls, and you need someone else then NEXT.

Thank goodness for Jim’s Moving Co. From Brad’s responsiveness (calling me back within a half an hour of my first message), to Sandy’s ability to come up with solutions to schedule our move during a busy holiday weekend, to the excellent movers who made it happen — we are so appreciative for a flawless relocation.
The moving crew of Scott, Gary «Moses» and Mike showed up exactly as promised and got to work right away. They were all very friendly and had great senses of humor, which is helpful during what is a stressful time for those of us who are moving. They were very strategic with their loading, packing, unloading and final placement of items. We had multiple levels to contend with in both directions and this didn’t phase them a bit.
All of our items arrived in perfect condition, which is amazing to me, as I personally have had items of mine chip just putting them in the back of my car. This moving crew is top notch!
I am so thankful for Jim’s Moving helping us with my Mom’s move and highly recommend them! Too bad there aren’t more than 5 stars to give!
