Caliente Wings & Burgers

Seasoned fries are excellent… I would give ⁴⁄₅ but a strong 4 for the fries. Cheese burger was pretty good. Not great but not bad either… ³⁄₅ for the burger. The only downside was the service took a while. Only 1 person takes the orders while cooking the food. They need a 2^nd employee. And for that I give it a ³⁄₅ overall

I went the first time to try it out after always passing it by on my way to the 7 – 11 next door with my family. We each got something different on the menu so we could test a lot of stuff out and their food is honestly really good and comes at reasonable prices. Their hot wings are so good and crispy, everyone loved them, I was really surprised especially comparing to other wing places. The chicken burger was really good in my opinion, my sister didn’t care for it but I loved it. Their Mozzarella sticks are another little gem of theirs, it was delicious as well and everyone loved them. Their fries are okay, I personally don’t like skinny fries that’s why, I prefer thick steak fries but we were all kind of ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ on it. I liked their steak cheese fries though, my cousin thought they should’ve melted the cheese on the fries, I didn’t care either way. The only thing that we all didn’t care for was the seasoned fries. Anyway, overall really good food/​good prices. I enjoyed it. Will definitely be going back, especially now knowing what I do really like and don’t like.

Caliente Burgers and Wings is a family owned grill in a small but busy shopping center. They have a variety of things like Mexican food, fish, and hot dogs. This place was very mediocre to me. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and I was disappointed what I ate. I didn’t eat the whole day, so I was starving when I came. I went at 6pm but I was the only patron in the establishment. The cook/​cashier seemed to not want to be there, he was a middle age man who seemed very cold, with not much personality.
I ordered the Bbq burger and it was messy. The cook had a heavy hand putting the Bbq on. Each bite The Bbq spilled out and made a mess. The patty was your usual frozen patty, with no seasoning, it tasted pretty bland. I understand why he put so much Bbq sauce, it was to give the sandwich some flavor. Two onion rings graced the burger, couple pickles, and cheese. Bacon would of made this sandwich a little better. I asked if he could put bacon on it. Unfortunately this place doesn’t have bacon. Fries were thin with light seasoning. They were just okay too. At least they give out free ranch.
I know they serve other things besides burgers, but I will not be venturing back here. The ingredients did not meet or exceed my expectations.

Great place for lunch, I work at Galpin motors right across the street. It comes in clutch on our long work days. Friendly service and great food!

Pastrami Hot Dog was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’m going to try the pastrami burger next. They put some «secret sauce» on the pastrami. I think it’s some type of chipotle garlic combo. It worked great on the hot dog. My co-​oworker loved it too.

Stumbled upon this gem when after buying a new dresser on Craigslist.
I often frequent wing stop, and was hesitant to try an independent restaurant.
LET ME TELL YOU, GET AN EXTRA SIDE OF BUFFALO SAUCE AND RANCH.
My gosh, mix those two together with some wings and fries, and you’ve got a winning combo.
Musa, one of the owners, was incredibly helpful and shared the story of how they are a new business.
I’m so glad good independent spots can open and serve good food, with great service.
Can’t wait to stop on by, and you might need a to go box, because their portions are very generous.
I’ll be back soon guys, definitely worth the drive from Granada hills.

I saw this on my walk the other morning. In hopes to find the gem in the middle of my new neighborhood– I am for adventure. Forgetting completely that it was a wing and burger place when I got here I decided to try some wings. The two behind the counter were nice and it took a moment, but that’s what I expect from getting it made. The boneless wings were good. Their fries had a lot of different spices including oregano and garlic. Which was disappointing from the sauce of the wings, Red hot or whatever people who don’t wings puts on wings. That’s like having just Tabasco sauce on your wings, but more vinegar. So I liked it anyway but I suggest trying to make different sauces. Wings are all about variety. The meal was huge. I probably will try it again. I liked the fries

Checked out this place during their grand opening Food is really good, the burgers are awesome! Looking forward to exploring it a little more, I haven’t tried their wings yet! I would have gave this place 5 stars but during their grand opening they had a bathroom for customers upon my second return two weeks later, they took off the bathroom sign from the door and when I asked to use it they said the owner said it was for employees only. A little disappointing because they had just let me use it on my last visit! Great place though looking forward to try something different when I go back!
