This place has such great quality food! The owners were very nice to me the 1^st time I went in telling me what was popular and even have me a free drink! The spicy chicken was amazing! It’s served on a skillet with rice on the side. They recommended the Korean tacos next time. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but never judge a book by its cover. It’s right across from Yoshinoya, but why would you go there when this place is ten times better!

Delicious!!! You’d neverexpected based on where it’s located, but this might be the best teriyaki/​barbecue in the valley. Dishes are made to order, not sitting around in a hot trays for hours. Unlike most other restaurants like it, food is not over salted. Food is fresh and properly seasoned. The service is remarkable. Seems like it was a husband and wife running the whole place by themselves, which is great. You should check it out, as I will definitely be back!

The mandoo is really good along with the Bbq. The portions are massive and the service is great!

Order from here at least once a week. The spicy pork is amazing.

I decided to try something new for a change. I was used to eating tacos, burritos, sandwiches and burgers. I was like ummmmm I don’t want that type of food today. After getting on Unilocal I came across this place. BBQ land had a catchy name and the pictures provided by Unilocalers and their reviews helped me come here. As I parked I found it hard due the parking lot being small and having like 11 stores around it. I managed to find parking and continued to the restaurant. I kind of got lost due to it being on the opposite side of Yoshinoya. I entered the restaurant and was greeted very kindly by a mid aged Korean woman. I asked for the specials and other questions anf she was able to answer me with great answers. I ended up getting a chicken and beef combo plate and 2 spam Hawaiian thingies lol. After eating this meal I assure you that i will definitely be back! The taste was really good and the teriyaki sauce was so delicious.

This reminded me a lot like Hawaiian bbq. The food taste the same as the previous store Hawaiian bbq. But they have a decent menu. I will come back here again because of their delicious spam. Ive spent about $ 14 for a large meal with two side and the spam masubi. The food is a fusion type (Korean and Hawaiian.)
The please is clean and their manager/​owners are very nice. Parking is in the back but beware it is very limited parking space. I came about 30mims before they closed so parking was easy. They offer delivered but $ 20minimum is require. They take plastic but at least $ 10 and paper.
I will come back here again in the future probably with a friend.

scrumptious food. we ordered short ribs, ribeye, chicken, chicken katsu, and Mandu. everything was made to order and absolutely wonderful. my favorite was the chicken katsu and the potato salad. the mandu is home made and was excellent also. the owners are so nice. we will be back to try other things on the menu.

Really awesome place ! Friendly owners and bomb food ! I LOVE their beef rib eye and corn ! It’s me to a bakery with BOMB cake also ! So when I go there I’m killing two birds with one stone. totally recommend !

Really awesome family owned business. The food is a amazing price and super good. I get the bbq chicken and beef plate. My fav is the glass noodles they are sooo yummy!!! Can’t wait for next time

Good food portions, and taste for the prize! Way better than eating fast food. I recommend the Rib eye and chicken, best bang for you buck.

Tastes like disappointment, some very talented cooks there to bring out such an emotion purely with flavor.

Food is great… wait time is fairly short… I love the spam musubi… the staff is very friendly… I stop here whenever I’m in Van nuys

In my experience, some of the best food comes from places that a lot of us might not even consider entering. BBQ Land could be one if those places, but trust me, Reader, you’ll be pleased.
The food was fantastic, I mean fan-f**king-tactic! It’s sort of a Korean/​Hawaiian fusion and not only is it delicious, but they give you SO MUCH for your money. Everything is made fresh and the owner, who creates the recipes, was there to truly give us an all-​star customer service experience. It’s everyone’s economy, so spend as you wish, but you won’t regret giving this place your business.

Food is delicious. Customer service is on point. Cooking is fresh. Overall, good dining experience. A little on the expensive side for fast food dining. Over $ 10 a meal. BBQ mic is bomb :)

The Shrimp were ok, the macaroni salad was horrible, it had an after taste, it was plane and very awful.
My friend ordered the chicken/​beef combo and he got a hair! in it!!! eeewww!
I think they need to have a cook and a cashier, not one person doing it all, plus the cook has to wear a hair net because her hair was all over my friend’s plate!
It was disgusting!
Will not go back to this restaurant ever! and will NOT recommend it to anybody!
