This hidden gem is tucked back in a shopping complex in Springfield, down the way from That Boot Store. This place gets five stars because of the fresh ingredients! It takes quite a while for you to get your food but that’s because it’s all made from scratch.
The owner lived in Italy for 15 years, with that being said my favorite dish is the linguine with clam sauce! Another of my favorite dishes is the Penne Bolognese, I am sure to ask for it spicy! The ambiance is not 5-​star at all but the food makes up for the lack of beauty! The Cannoli has chocolate chips in the filling and the ranch is buttermilk, the best I’ve ever tasted.

4 stars because of the price and no military discount. The food is good but greasy. So if you have a tight budget or sensitive stomach you might consider another location. Go early if you don’t want to wait; is not always packed but got brevet know when it will be. People who are regulars will get special treatment and you’ll see their food before yours. Sometimes they pre-​ordered before they arrived but you’ll never know. Ask for your pizza to be cooked a little while longer if you want to avoid soggy middle. I also use the paper towels to dab up the grease. I recommend giving them a try but be prepared.

Every single thing I’ve had here has been some of the best italian food I’ve had since I left New Jersey.
The place is a little small, so you may want to aim for a late lunch, early dinner to beat the crowds… but even if you have to stand in the street, the food is so good that it’d be worth getting hit by a car for.
I haven’t tried the pizza yet, because their calzones and strombolis are so amazing, but that’s on my to do list.

This place may not have the best Italian food out there but their Stromboli and Calzones are amazing!!! Some of the best I have ever had… Their bread knots for sides are quite delicious as well as succulent. Prices was fair, I would recommend this place especially to strombolli/​calzone fans.

Looking for a good pizza joint on a Friday night our fellow Unilocalers lead us to Pizzeria Napoli… good choice y’all! The restaurant itself is adorable, super homey, and the staff was incredibly nice. You order at the counter and find a seat and they bring your food out to you. We ordered a large pizza half sausage/​peppers half sausage/​chicken and a order of «bread knots» which are essentially little knots of garlic bread, yum. The pizza was huge and hot. DELICIOUS. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Not the best ever, but we spend a lot of time in Chicago so that’s that, but definitely a great local pizza. We will back again and again!

I really enjoy the atmosphere here.
But i love the stromboli even more.
The basic meat one is a great one to try first. I add peppers and olives to mine.
Also, meatballs in dough. Yummy. Try em.
And save room for dessert.

awesome pizza and Italian food place tucked away in the corner of a little strip mall near a gym. really really good! I think the owners are transplanted Italian-​Americans from New Jersey or New York or somewhere around there. I tried the Italian pie, it was wonderful! low prices. this is a family business, support it because it is very good!

Yummo! I’ve had the thin pizzas in pepperoni (great) and Hawaiian (my fave), and I’ve had the cannoli desert (first ever, so not sure how to compare). It’s a little pricey, so you might as well get the large pizza and have the rest later. It freezes well crisps up like fresh if reheated in the oven. The atmosphere in here is city-​like with it’s all brick walls, and it also has a down-​home feel with the friendly service. They are military friendly, too!

In a town that mom & pop eateries are disappearing, Pizzeria Napoli provides a place to get a very good meal for a pretty modest price. They have definitely become a favorite lunch spot of mine.

Pizzeria Napoli is a great place to get a quick fix of Italian comfort foods. You’ll find a solid varitey of subs, calzones, pizza (by the slice or whole), wraps, stromboli, and pastas. It is family owned and operated. The service is friendly and quick. The resturant itself is a bit small and on it’s busiest days it may be a wait to find adequate seating for your party. Overall the experience is highly recommended!
