Great burger, awesome home cooked chips, and an amazing shake! Make sure you try this place. They have an 8 minute challenge that consists of eating a side, drink and a 9 patty burger with cheese. It is legit! Don’t go to the normal chains! This is the place! 5 stars across the board and the service is the best. Shout out to the owners!

Visiting the PCB. spent the day fishing came home hungry. Decided on a way back burger. My party of 4 all really enjoyed the food. I got a triple bacon cheese burger. Really a good burger, the staff was a single fella who hustled and got our food out correct and quickly. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was the sweet tea wasn’t very sweet or strong. Other then that it was excellent food.

Very good Chipotle burger. Wife’s chicken buffalo sandwich was overcooked and looked like a preformed patty (like you but frozen at the grocery in bags of ten) but ended up not being made from that nasty mcnugget liquid chicken stuff, and was breast meat our something similar. Very thin, very unnaturally round, very cooked. I’d go back, she would, too, but says she’d get a burger next time.

Went to Wayback last week while with the family on Spring Break. When we arrived there were only a few people inside and no line to order. It appeared to be two employees and a manager. We placed our order and paid, and they brought it out to us. It took quite some time to get the order. I would say twice as long as at Five Guys when the Five Guys is super busy. The Hamburger was pretty good, and I liked how they do the bun, however the Fries are cooked from frozen, and are not close to Five Guys. The service was very slow for the lack of customers. The cook was very nice and did ask how we liked everything. The manager never asked us anything. The food was not bad, but for the cost I could not justify returning when there is a Five Guys right down the street. My suggestion cut fresh fries and improve the speed of your service.

Pouring rain here while on vacation had me wanting a good burger. Strict rule of trying local had us checking out Wayback Burgers. So happy we did!!! Ordered the cheese fries, good but the fries were awesome without the cheese. Husband got the Double Bacon and added some jalapeño, said it was delicious. I went with the Wayback Classic, a great double cheeseburger with fresh toppings. The buns are perfect. Friendly service, fast delivery of food and a clean environment made this a great place to stop in if you are in the mood for a burger.

I have already been to the Panama City location twice and I love everything about it. The food is fresh and hot the people there are great. The food is a little costly and I wish the could take out a table to give dinners a little more room for their chairs.

I like the 50’s vibe. Clean, and fast. I didn’t get a shake but they have a good menu. Chips, fries or onion rings come with the burgers. They have a milkshake happy hour. 3 – 5 daily buy one get one free.

Came here after a coworker went on and on about how she had the best burger of her life. I’m not disappointed. The burger is delicious and so big I can barely open my mouth far enough to get a bite. The cheese fries are absolute heaven with and without dipping sauce (we tried chipotle mayo and ranch). I will definitely be recommending it and absolutely will be coming back. My new favorite over Red Robin, hands down.

one word: disappointed. For a restaurant with burger in its name, you’d think they would get that part right. But sadly, they didn’t. I had the veggie burger — cold bun, tasteless burger, anemic tomato. I always get the veggie option at restaurants, and they probably all use the same brand I get in the frozen food section. But really, BayMed cafeteria can even get it right. You toast the bun and grill the burger, duh. What they did get right, nice hot crunchy fries, really nice homemade milkshake. Save your money and calories and pass on the mac/​cheese bites and chili option on fries. Won’t go out of my way to eat here again.

Wow! Great burger joint. Better than 5 Guys and you don’t walk out smelling like a fry cook. They make burger specialties but they also will make them to order. Homemade chips! Yummy. Saw another person complain about the chips but it might be due to the cook and how long they stay in the fryer. Milk shakes were good. The onion rings were some of the best I’ve had.
Note: If you use google maps to find the place you may end up on the wrong side of the road. They are across the big road from Longhorn.

Just finished eating here for the first time and I had a great experience. Food was great & the staff was friendly. I also liked that there was a veggie burger option.
Everything seemed to be prepared as healthy as possible. Nothing was soaked in grease like you find at other burger joints.
I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town. Nicely done.

One star loss for prices. About same prices as 5 guys which is expensive for burgers. Burger was better than most.

In the world of new burger joints, this one falls short. Burger was OK but not something that begs you to return. Fries are frozen and are good, but why frozen?
The manager was visible and checked on customers. Service was better than average. It’s a shame the food doesn’t stand up.
