How to review Publix, sparkling clean, well presented and polite staff. A lovely range of everything and splendid meatballs. For this we pay a bit more… but not every day.

This is a very nice Publix with excellent staffing and happy employees. Even when the store is packed they do a great job having all lanes open and moving people through quickly. They really know how to provide great service. Props to the management here. I do however have to run across the street for a better selection of Organic produce, hair products and specialty items at Winn-Dixie.

Finnegan is a Publix fan, and this is one of the best of the Publix Super Markets that we have been in; particularly from an employee standpoint. This Publix is definitely well managed and all the employees are very nice, helpful and friendly. Definitely among the best of the many grocery stores that we have patronized on our extensive travels. The first time that Finnegan visited here it caused quite a stir with the employees, many of which were not aware that service dogs can come in very small packages and appeared quite curious; so Finnegan and me Dwaddy volunteered to answer any questions that they might have and even gave them some service dog etiquette cards. We spent some time with them answering several questions of the staff for purposes of education; showing them how service dogs can dramatically improve the lives of disabled people. However, Whole Foods is our favorite grocery chain and has become the standard of comparison; and we wish that Publix as an upscale food market would increase their lines of organic foods. They would do a much better job of it than Winn Dixie, which recently did so across the street. Not dog friendly – but very service dog friendly, and now, savy!

We stayed at Carillon. Publix and Winn-Dixie were our two most convenient locations for groceries for our week long stay at the beach. Publix had most everything we needed. Not a huge selection of organic foods, but it was only temporary for the week. Publix had what we needed. We spent a lot of money for a family of nine. It was really convenient for most everything that we needed through out the week. We only had to make a couple of trips to Target at Pier Park to get knick knacks not at publix, like memory cards, and technical stuff. Nice not to have to go far to get what you need and just enjoy the beach.
