John’s Barber Salon

John has been here for something over 25 years and has continued offering wonderful and inexpensive haircuts with a bit of style. He and his long time partner Bill have been serving customers from their Palos Heights salon longer than anyone else in this little strip mall on the southeast corner of 127^rd Street and Ridgeland Avenue.
I started with John back in Beverly some 50 year ago when he just began his profession as a barber… back then he was located right on 95^th Street at the junction with the Rock Island commuter station just west of Ashland Avenue. From there he moved out to Palos Heights and settled in.
If you are looking for a nice haircut with not a lot of pomp and circumstance… just good hands… this is your place. During the holidays John always has a little wine or other alcohol to share while you wait. Old fashioned and proud of it… give this place a try.
