I had an excellent experience with both Dr. Yao and his nurse Julie. She was patient and very compassionate. Dr. Yao performed several tests and as he did he explained everything he was doing. He listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I found him to be very kind and thorough. I required more testing before my surgery date and Julie squeezed me in so I wouldn’t have to push back my surgery date. I am grateful to both of them and highly recommend this duo.

If you are looking for a urologist do not go to Dr Yao. He is actually okay as a Dr but his nurse Julie is abrupt & will not listen to the patient. I had a terrible experience & do not wish that on anyone. I had a kidney stone & could not even get an appointment for 3 weeks okay if you have ever had one you know it mine as well been 3 years. Julie promised me an earlier appointment if I did in fact have kidney stones but my MRI was not even reviewed until my appointment & guess what I needed ANOTHER MRI– I have never been treated so poorly… Julie requested I come to talk to her & she would be there but when I got there she was gone & no one knew anything. Maybe another Dr in the Dept would be better…
