Steve The Magic Guy

Steve entertained 18 kids and 20 grown ups at our 6-​year olds daughter’s party this weekend. We held it in a park and that setting was good for his show– we even had others in the park gather around. Steve was fun to work with and had the kids in stitches throughout his show. They were laughing and engaged throughout the 1 hour show– the humor is definitely at a kid level but that works for the audience. My only recommendation is that you tailor the length of your show for what works for you. It felt long to me, but in the end I was delighted that he did keep kids engaged that whole hour! Maybe I was just too eager to get to the cake. I recommend him for a fun, kid-​oriented entertainment. As birthday girl, my daughter was the star of the show for a portion which was great. My daughter says «I liked it, especially when he fell a lot of the time.» Great fun!

Big recommendation for Steve, who came over to «keep the kids busy» at an adult birthday party that happened to have 45 little kids as guests as well. He had all the kids (ranging from 5 to 9) in stitches and many of the adults actually hung out and watched the show as well and had a great time. I got lots of compliments on Steve’s show and hopefully he got some business out of it as I think several guests will use him in the future.

I highly recommend Steve who we had for my six year old daughter’s birthday party. The kids were absolutely doubled over in laughter and completely captivated for his entire performance with his slapstick comedy. He made ballon sculptures for the kids afterwards and even played happy birthday on his guitar when the cake came out. He performed for over an hour!
He was terrific to deal with beforehand via email, promptly replying to any queries I had.
Really, could not ask for more, we were thrilled and the birthday girl and her friends completey delighted!

We hired Steven Koehler (Steve the Magic Guy) for my daughter’s ninth birthday party held at our house. Steve was amazing in every way! He was totally professional leading up to the event, re-​confirmed with me a few days before the party and then arrived on time and was totally self sufficient setting up (as I had my hands full with 15 9 year old girls!).
His routine is hilarious!!! It is equal parts comedy and magic! All of the kids LOVED, LOVED, LOVED him and my husband and I were thoroughly entertained as well! At the end, he made balloon animals for all of the kids and even played guitar and sang happy birthday to my daughter when we served cake. Steve way over delivered and made the party an enormous success! He is really great for all ages.
I would give him 10 stars if I could!!!

Steve performed at my son’s 3-​year birthday party at our house this past weekend. I found him here on Unilocal and I’m so glad I did!
He arrived early to set up for his show and was totally flexible to start late because half of our guests had not yet arrived. We had about 15 kids total, ranging in ages from 2 – 10, and he had them all in stiches the entire time. His slapstick, interactive humor had them all entranced for the entire 45-​minute show. I couldn’t have asked for more.
Steve was professional, courteous, and flexible, which made the whole planning process so easy. He was fantastic!

We first met/​saw Steve in our local farmers market on Sundays. He was funny and our 3 year old loves seeing him. (and to get a twisted balloon!).
So, for our other son’s birthday party, we had Steve over in our house. We had 15 – 20 kids and they were all blown away by his show!
Apart from plain fun and silliness, Steve also taught the kids about «don’t give up, even if it is hard»…
Great show and it was amazing to see how old-​fashioned entertainment can bring everyone (kids and adults) together!
