Love it. Wish there was one in Petaluma or Sonoma!

I was disappointed to see they don’t make drinks here, and that everything is premade. Oh well. The shop is clean and small, with just a refrigerator on the right and a counter with the cash register. There is a table or two, but I only see anyone using those if they didn’t have anywhere else to be. The woman working tonight seemed personable, but I guess she wasn’t in the mood for conversation. I told her it was our first time coming to project juice and we didn’t know what to do/get, and she wasn’t really much help. However, I found what I wanted and it ended up being decent. The sweet greens is only very slightly sweet, as the only sweet ingredient is green apple. It almost tastes as though it contains ginger, and is kind of hard to drink if you don’t like greens. The chocolate protein is very chalky and obviously chocolately. Pretty good, and I see myself buying it again. The wellness shot was very bitter, and it ended up making me need to use the restroom a few times. I guess that means it’s working? I decided to replace my meal tonight with these juices instead, but it’s not something I would do often. Juicing, contrary to popular belief, is actually not healthy at length, so only juice in moderation! Probably won’t be coming back here since my boyfriend is moving to San Jose, but it was a nice experience.

This small shop is filled with lots of options for cold pressed juices and tonics. Today’s pick for me was ‘Deep Green’…primarily because I felt gross after a weekend of eating more than I should have. LOL. Anyway, the juice definitely tastes fresh, but this stuff isn’t for the faint of heart! The drink I selected had no apple or pineapple so not surprisingly, it was really bitter! But even though it didn’t taste good, I felt great after drinking it! But is this worth $ 10 a bottle? Eh… I’ve had comparable cold pressed juices for less. Sorry Project Juice… IMHO there’s not enough here to justify the price.

Stopped by this juice bar on a warm day in Palo Alto after having a greasy meal and was in need of something to make me feel less gross. I grabbed the Strawberry Chia and my friend got the D Tox. We both loved our drinks and would definitely try the place again! Only downside is how expensive it is — about $ 10 per bottle of less than 500 mL

I moved to Texas and I am still addicted to Project Juice. Can you believe they ship me juice in less than a few hours? I am so grateful for that because it’s the only healthy meal I can get. Plus, it’s still delicious! One million stars for their overnight FedEx — and a million thanks! The product is still delicious as always.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! The ‘Black Magic’ is divine! I felt very detoxed and clean(if you catch my drift) after drinking it. Definitely go with the more ‘watery’ looking drinks if you are watching your sugars. There are some items that are no doubt delicious but border on being heavy desserts.

One word — Wow! Loved their juice and their coconut macaroons were quite delicious! The guy at the register was super friendly and explained the different juices available. My fav was the green juice drinks and the Flu Shot was awesome! It’s not cheap juice but so worth the splurge!

Don’t get me wrong, the quality is great, but some of the recipes are: LACKING — namely the 1) chocolate milk version and the 2) mint tea chip shake one. I tasted nothing too special, but they were tasty — don’t get me wrong. You couldn’t go wrong with trying this place. Maybe I had a bad one. I’ll give this place more tries I’m saying the quality is great, but yeah, putting it together is their problem. I don’t see spending around $ 10 for a bottle of THIS stuff to be good. You can spend less at Pressed Juicery for the same quality while they have much better recipes(the drinks there have much better palettes and aftertastes and freshness, etc), as well as a better marketing approach and appearance on their drinks, customer service, branding, and store vibe. Go buy your own juicer, save money, and make better recipes! I’ll give this place more tries — I’ve only tried two drinks.

Fresh juice is always best, but in a pinch places like these are helpful to quench that particular craving. The juices at Project Juice aren’t bad. I particularly enjoy the Nut«Mylks». I was in downtown Palo Alto a couple of weeks ago, so popped in here to grab some healthy snacks and decided to try their«Sprouted Almond Superfood Trailmix». That afternoon, while back in my office, I grabbed the packet of trail mix and was about to open it when I notice a long hair entwined in the mix … gross, but it happens, I suppose. So, today I finally had time to make a special trip back to downtown(which isn’t an easy trip at lunch time) to return said Trailmix. I expected a bit of an apologetic reaction, but all I got was a disinterested, «huh, that’s weird, do you want another one?» I just stared at her, then grabbed another one and she mumbled a half-hearted«sorry». That was it. So I left the store, for the last time. Not the best face forward for a business.

Summer colds suck balls. Let me also just preface by saying that I’m really stubborn about taking medication to aid in the common cold and flu. Though I’ve dabbled in a good dose of codeine when on the verge of sinking, I prefer to use all natural, holistic methods to assist my immune system and kick any cold’s ass. With that said, I don’t know anywhere else where I can get a 2 oz concentrated wellness shot. Whether it’s to curb the onset of a cold or flu, or to calm tummy issues, I love project juice specifically for these small but MIGHTY bottles of magic. I wish they bottled the flu shot wellness shots in larger bottles. This concoction is super yummy packed with organic oj, lemon, ginger, cayenne and AF reishi extract, a mushroom which boosts the immune system. The only other ingredient that was non organic was the echinacea extract. No biggie. I will say that this particular blend is considered and warned by staff as spicy noting cayenne and ginger. Not for me though, bring on a spicy oj anyway of the week! Yes, these littles are expensive at $ 4 a pop for 2 oz but I really believe they played a big part in my healing process. I’ve had these a couple of times before on separate occasions and each time soon after have felt close to 100% the following day upon downing 2 – 3 of these a day. Unilocalers, if you can lead me to other juice bars that offer wellness type shots, let me know. In the meantime if I’m needing a detoxifying shot or a booster of any sort, I’m glad to have project juice nearby. Note: turmeric Mylk is the sh*t!

I like juice, a lot. Always have and hopefully always will. So I wanted to get into this juicing experience. My friends and I were walking around this area on a rather warm day so we decided to grab some juice and this place came up on our search. Walking in, it was already not what I expected. I was hoping for fresh juice, not bottled juice so you can probably take this review with a grain of salt. It’s not a huge place but it looks like there’s a lot of space because there’s only a couple fridges of product, a couple tables, and then just space. Maybe we got unlucky with our experience because everyone talked about how great the service was but we got a bit of a cold shoulder with no help. No mind, I picked my own juice(with a little bit of reluctancy). In my haste of wanting to cool down, I chose Pomegranate Orange without seeing that it had Coconut in it which I’m not a fan of. It had a bit of a weird taste and between me and my guy, we weren’t able to finish it. One of the other people we went with got D-Tox which was okay. I don’t know that I would’ve been able to finish that either. My biggest problem with here(because I’m willing to take responsibility for choosing the wrong drink) is that it’s $ 10 bucks for less than 15 fl oz. Come again? When I can get a similar sized bottle for much cheaper elsewhere or a huge bottle(albeit much less healthy) for the same price? Or even buy my own juicer and fruit? Okay, I digress. This place just isn’t for me and the price is really the deal breaker.

I have been wanting to try this place out, but it’s just so out of the way for me. Parking in Palo Alto isn’t the best either… I went to SoulCycle with my cousin, and afterwards we ate breakfast at Lyfe Kitchen which is around the corner from Project Juice. There was plenty of parking because it was a Sunday morning. This made everything that much more convenient. After breakfast we popped by to pick up some juices. I picked up 4 juices: Black Magic, D-Tox, Swizz Beets, & the Almond Mylk ~ over $ 30 spent for 4 drinks! I couldn’t believe it, but I just bit the bullet because I didn’t think I would come back for a while. I also wanted to get in some healthy juices before I hopped on a plane today. It was perfect because I was busy working and doing some last minute packing. This was my way of putting some healthy goodness into my body. You can’t really put a price to your health! I have tried almost every juice place: Blueprint, Pressed Juicery, Juice Shop, Jamba Juice… You name it! I really liked the Swizz Beets! It wasn’t as strong and overpowering like the Pressed Juicery one that has ginger in it. If you like ginger, you may think Project Juice’s is too sweet. The Black Magic and the D-Tox are probably on par with Pressed Juicery’s citrus flavored drinks. Now, the Almond Mylk… not my favorite. I can’t believe it was over $ 10! I decided to try it because I wanted to see what the hype was all about. Meh! I will not spend $ 10 for this ever again. Disappointed… My favorite juicery is the SF Juice Shop! I am still bummed that they don’t have a location closer to San Jose. Their almond milk is by far my favorite out of all! I don’t like that you can’t sample all the flavors. They only have samples available for that day. It really limits your options if you haven’t been there before, or if you’ve never tried something before. For the most part, almost all the drinks I tried were good. I like that they are organic and local. I feel good about that… it’s just not budget friendly. Yesterday, I heard a woman say«It’s really expensive to eat healthy, but it’s cheaper than medicine and medical bills» AMENSISTER!!! I would definitely pop by here if I was in the neighborhood or after going to Lyfe Kitchen down the way!

This is my first green juice experience since relocating to the Bay area… the juices here definitely taste fresher than the ones on the east coast(maybe because the produce here comes straight from the source). So far, my favorites are the cold pressed green juices. Stay away from the green mint shake though… it tastes terrible! It brings me back to childhood nightmares of having to drink hanyak, a traditional Korean medicine… ick.

I love watermelon juice and I own a juicer but I lack the upper body strength necessary to cut a watermelon into small enough parts to jam into my juicer so sometimes I throw caution to the wind and splurge on a luxury-priced cold-pressed juice. Am I fan of paying $ 10 for an edible liquid? No. That’s ludicrous any way you slice it, but I was thirsty, I had a health-oriented meeting, and this was the most appropriate venue to conduct our business, so we ponied up. I was certainly skeptical walking in and seeing that the juices aren’t made fresh on the spot as you order them, but the good news is both that there’s no wait and no deafening motor whirring noises from the juicers, and that these juices are made in limited quantities and I’d say they tasted as fresh as any juice I made at home in my juicer… only better because these juices didn’t taste like butt the way mine usually do. I walked in behind two handsome business men with a ton of questions who weren’t afraid to ask for samples, so I was able to reap the benefits of their curiosity by listening in on all the answers and getting to tag team the sampling of two different types of juices, a kale salad, and a vanilla chia pudding(which was so crazy good that I’ve been dreaming about it all day). I typically shy away from that master cleanse-type stuff with the lemon and cayenne and whatever else, but upon sampling Project Juice’s I’m now singing a different tune. It’s so refreshing and spicy and wasn’t at all what I thought it was going to be like, but in a good way. I was tempted to get a bottle of this but the Watermelon Cooler(watermelon, cucumber, and mint) spoke to me so I went with that and chugged it without a single regret. I also chased my main juice with the Project Juice Flu Shot, which is a smaller 4oz bottle of orange, lemon, ginger, and sh*t ton of cayenne to up your immune system and chase away the germies– which was great for me because I think I’m on the verge of getting sick and even if it was a total placebo effect, I don’t care because I legit felt better and more alive– and at $ 4 for the shot I’d totally consider it worth it. It is definitely pretty damn spicy for a juice, and will leave a burn in your belly for up to an hour after consuming, which I really liked. I’d be comfortable giving 4-stars here if it weren’t for the truly outstanding customer care and service at this location. The lady working was SO helpful, even when it got busy, had no problem taking her time in explaining the samples, answering a zillion questions, setting up with sample food bites, and smiling all the while in a really genuine manner. You could tell she not only knew her stuff, but truly cared about the product and brand and I gotta be real, people who give a damn about what they do is a real turn on for me, so 5-stars it is. Worth every penny for the boost this juice gave me. Oh– and don’t forget to pick up the frequent buyer card and get your stamps towards a free juice!

Thanks to Munch Walks(a new food tour in the bay area) for introducing me to Project Juice! This place is great — cold-pressed, local, organic, healthy juice/smoothie. My favorites are the immunity/flu shot(orange juice with cayenne and other things, helps preempt your cold) and the carrot beta-thing(super delicious). Unfortunately they were completely stocked out of the immunity/flu shot when I came here on Sunday afternoon… otherwise this place would get 5 stars for sure!

What can I possibly say. First off I have read some reviews about how expensive these juices are. And let me break this down. We all spend like 8 – 12 bucks for a cocktail easy with out blinking. To try to get a buzz, spending what you have to spend to get a buzz of vitamins is fine. These are raw juices that don’t have a long shelf life so the products are always fresh. It’s not pumped full of preservatives or other shit you/I don’t want. Now back to my review I love raw juice. I love that smell of fresh juice… it’s not an official juice bar where they mix the juice there but never the less. A true class act place. I came into this place with high expectations(it’s downtown Palo Alto, and it’s a new trendy raw juice shop it’s not like the dead bar scene) and they succeeded I met the person who was managing the place and she quickly offered some samples of some stuff. and I was hooked. Something as simple as a bite size of kale is the way to win customers, I ended up buying three Beta Bomb, get your greens, and something mint chocolate. Please take more of my money.

I’ve been a fan of Project Juice big time from the beginning, when they opened in Palo Alto. They recently introduced a line of food products and I just tried two items, Raw Cauliflower Sushi and Raw Chocolate Mousse. They have a hit with the raw sushi in the presentation, taste, innovation and ingredients. Instead of rice, they used crumbled raw cauliflower that actually resembled rice. The concoction is named cauliflower sushi rice, and has cauliflower, tahini, cider vinegar, maple syrup, sea salt rolled inside a filling of nori seaweed sheets, enoki mushrooms, avocado, cashews, cucumber, pickled ginger, pea sprouts. It is accompanied by miso tahini sauce, comprised of tahini, water, horseradish, miso, maple syrup, ginger, garlic. Everything is nested in a bed of greens and purple cabbage. The tahini sauce is perfect for dipping the sushi in and a very satisfying, energizing meal. Note that the Raw Chocolate Mousse has raw cacao nibs, medjool dates, banana, agave, cashews, almond mylk(yes, nut mylk is their product). I highly recommend giving it a try for all of my fellow foodie adventurers.

Dear Project Juice, Your fresh juice makes me happy! Besides juicing at home, your place of business is my go-to for fresh juice. It’s true that your prices are pretty steep, but I’m paying for quality so I don’t mind as much. I love that you offer buy 10 get 1 free stamp cards as an added bonus. My only complaint is that I wish you had a bit more variety of juice — can we work on that? Other coolness factor is your cold brew coffee w/almond milk & other healthy snacks. I also think it’s super cool that you source locally — way to go Project Juice! – Your happy customer :)

I’m not into juicing because it’s a lot of work so i’m thankful for all the juice shops that provide this(: But convenience has a steep price…$ 9.25 for a bottle of green juice is a lot but if you compare it to other juice places such as blueprint, pressed juicery, etc. it’s not bad. And I think project juice has a great taste to their juices! I visited the shop so I got to sample lots of flavors and I enjoyed all of them. They were all light and refreshing :) They provide cleanses starting at $ 65 for a 1 day which is a good deal! And they also have a loyalty card so if you buy 10 you can get a free juice :)
