Were the first words out of the store managers mouth«are you sure dude» in reference to whether or not I was using the right credit card for return return? I can understand if you have some kind of rapport with a customer or have at least asked how I was, but for these to be the first words out of her mouth– I was shocked. When I returned the question by saying«I think so dude» she was immediately offended and copped an attitude. PacSun caters to a teenage clientele, so maybe I should expect this type of communication between a customer and employee. Nevertheless, they do have reasonable prices and some cool brands. From now on though, I’ll stick to Surf Shops and real skate stores.

Rude. It was my first time returning an item at this PacSun and the manager’s customer service was dreadful. Me: I’d like to make a return. Manager: Are you serious? Seriously? Seriously. You know it’s been a month since you purchased this right? Me: Yes. Manager: Seriously? Why did you take so long? Me: I just didn’t have the time to come sooner, but today I am able to. Manager: You know that you can ship these clothes back to PacSun right? Why didn’t you do that? … Seriously. Me: Shipping it back would cause me to be deducted $ 5.95 Manager: It’s free both ways. Me: No, it’s not. It’s only free shipping when you buy clothes up to a certain amount and you have to pay for return shipping. Yea ass wipe, I’m SERIOUS! The PacSun policy states that I can return/exchange items within a 60 day period via shipping or at a store. So if I wanted to return it on the 59th day, I so well could. If you want your customers to return within a 2 week period, why don’t you demand for the change? If you want me to make your life easier by shipping the clothes back, then give me $ 5.95 to do so. What nerve that guy had. I was like a deer in headlights, I was so appalled. I could not process on how to react. I have never experienced such horrendous customer service, especially from a manager at that! And yes, I get that returning leads to decline in commission and performance, but C’mon! That doesn’t give a valid reason to be disrespectful to customers. Verdict: .1 out of 5.0(Since my clothes were returned.)

I tried to get a gift here for a friend, and I was treated quite rudely by the girl working there. She tried to offer me free shipping, then confused herself and tried to charge me twice as much as what she told me I would pay. Not my cup of tea. The clothes scream«spoiled norcal kid with bad taste» anyway. Definitely not coming back here.

My son likes the clothing here, but the decibel level of the blaring music drives his mother(with her cash) right out the door. I can only handle about 3 minutes in this place before retreating outside onto a bench in the sun.

Ah pacific sunwear, what would my highschool years be without you? I liked going in to this place fairly often when I was dressing in this fashion: they have a lot of surfer clothes that you just can’t find anywhere else. Rather expensive though.

I’m not big on their clothes but It’s the only all-guys store in the company, so they usually have most of what you want in stock and they’re never busy. If you like their clothes you’d give them a 5, I don’t so I give them a 3.
