Coldwater Creek

I loved the collection in this shop though the regular priced items are bit overvalued. I always buy stuff here when there are deals. They have deals almost every week. The staff there are also very helpful especially Denise who helped me out with few transactions that were quite cumbersome!

I stopped in Coldwater Creek for the first time today and purchased a couple of shirts and tees that they had advertised as a buy one, get one at half off. I bought 2 of each, different colors. The total came to more than I expected so after I stepped outside the store I checked my receipt and noticed that instead of charging me for a tee and taking half off the second one, then doing the same for the shirts, they charged me for the two most expensive items and took 50% off the cheapest!!!
When I went back in to ask about it, the cashier said that the computer has been programed to ring items up that way!
So if I bought 2 shirts at $ 100 and 2 tees at $ 10 on the «Buy one, get one at half off» I’d pay $ 210 (full price for the shirts and half off each of the tees!) instead of $ 165!
So for all of you Coldwater Creek fans, I suggest you ring each «Buy one, get one 50% off», as separate transactions and really keep an eye on your receipt. As for me, I don’t like shysters so I’m not going back. Shame on you Coldwater Creek for scamming your customers!

I normally shop at the Hillsdale store. But I decided to take a drive to Stanford Mall and check out another Coldwater Creek store. Amazing, how different this store is. The owner is there, walking around and asking what you might be interested in. I picked out a few sale items. I went to the cashier and asked if I could exchange a promotional bracelet that I bought in san Mateo as I did not like the color. The owner said, no problem and if your purchases total $ 100, we will let you select another free bracelet and get $ 25 off of your purchase. Wow, buying sale merchandise and getting another discount. I was all smiles. I definately will make the drive to Palo Alto for future purchases. I love the clothes and accessories at Coldwater and the employees are very accomodating.

I enjoyed shopping here a few weeks ago. They have some great styles and clothes. It makes me feel more mature and adult, without looking aged, which is great. I found a top I liked, so I could pair it with a skirt I had. When I came home, the shirt didn’t go with the skirt like I thought. So I ended up returning it, I don’t wear white. I can’t wait to go back, and keep what I bought. ;)

Their stuff at full price isn’t the most affordable. I’m already on their email list so I check out the clearance online often. But nothing like seeing the clothes in real life and feeling them. so once in a while, they do have a big sale in the store (like today!) and I simply let myself get lost in there.
The sales ladies there are totally helpful. When I start going around carrying a few items in my arms, they come up and ask if I want to have them set the clothes aside for a dressing room. One sales girl totally helped me with picking out a purse… (they were dirt cheap. more of a fashion thing though. not designer purses). The service certainly made me feel good. even though I only ended up spending $ 20. Some of their clothing was down to only $ 20/​$ 25. Anyways. what a fun time I had today.
I’d give them a five star if they have a super sale like this more often.
