Let me start off by saying I am a hair snob. Coming from New York and having my hair cut and colored by the same guy for 15+ years, makes it very difficult to go somewhere else. I moved to Palmetto Bay a year ago, and I didn’t feel like going to Coral Gables to get my hair done every month. I decided to go by the reviews on Unilocal and I found Angela at Bella Vita. She was professional, personable, and she gave me the exact hair color that I wanted. The products that they use are very good quality. I also got a trim, and a blowout, both of which were excellent. I highly recommend the salon. I also think that their prices are very reasonable. Thank you for those of you who recommended Angela.

I have tried many salons in the past. Bella Vita is by far the best. They are attentive, respectful, reasonably priced and their professionalism and service is second to none. I highly recommend giving the team a shot, you’ll be hooked!

I have been going to Bella Vita Salon and Spa for a few years now because of the wonderful service and care that I get from Odalys. She does my facials, waxings, manicures and pedicures. I feel very comfortable with Odalys she is very friendly and very professional. I have always left the salon feeling totally pampered and more then satisfied. If any one is looking for a full specialist I suggest visiting this beautiful salon and let Odalys do for you what she does for me

Odalys is an amazing nail technician as well as a great person. She also does a great job in waxing, facials etc. Going to Bella Vita Salon is a relaxing and very pleasant experience andI highly recommend this salon in Palmetto Bay.

My first time at Bella Vita Salon, I was greeted by a warm friendly staff. I got color, haircut and blow dry. My stylist, Angela, was fantastic. She matched my color perfectly! The haircut was exactly what I wanted. The price was very reasonable. Customer for life. Thank you.

I am in love with this salon. I went in for a haircut, and I asked about dying my hair since I had never done it before. Angela explained everything about the process… the bleaching, and how long it will last and which color would look good. I was sure I wanted to do right there and then, so I did. I was nervous and praying that my black hair will let the redish new color show, but as the minutes passed I was more relaxed because Angela would just be all casual and talkative and I forgot what was going on. By the time she was done, she blow dried some of my hair so I could notice the change and I FELL IN LOVE with my hair all over again. I seriously recommend this place, it is nice, relaxing and the staff is great, attentive and careful. Thank you so much for everything and I’ll be back on November.

I never wanted to settle down with a hair dresser because I was never fully satisfied. I went to this place after I got a Groupon and now it’s my go-​to place. Angela is the best! I feel 100% comfortable with her doing anything to my hair. She was not afraid to let me know her opinion about what I should do and I don’t regret listening to her advice! Thanks Angela!

Angela and the rest of the team took so good care of me from the first second and made me feel so relaxed. As I wanted extensions and this was new for me, she explained everything to the last detail and the day we booked the appointment everything became exactly what I wanted as she is so professional.

Love, love, love!!! Ask for Angela. I went in after getting very blotchy hi-​lites from another salon and a haircut that wasn’t really a haircut. Angela was able to fix the color and gave me the best hi-​lites I have ever had. She also gave me an amazing haircut. The salon is very relaxing and pleasing to the eyes. Great location, great prices and the best service, best hi-​lites and cut I have ever had. Trust me at my age I have been to plenty. Never again will
I go anyplace else.

To get someone I trust to do anything to my hair is a mission for me, so little to say I went out on a limb when I came across this salon. From the moment I walked in, I felt like family! Angela exceeded all expectations beyond words! Everything was explained and and spoken to and everything I wanted was done but so much more!!! I came out feeling like a new person! thank you!!!

The only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars is because the ambiance is relaxing and very clean. However, $ 60 for a gel manicure that lasts 3 days is unacceptable. Not to mention that there are only like 6 colors to choose from!
Never again! Don’t waste your money!

I just moved to the Palmetto Bay area, and this salon is a great choice if you are new to the area or you just need a salon. I have used their waxing and hair services on two separate occasions. Both times I was satisfied. Each woman was knowledgeable in her field and gave me tips on eyebrow and hair care.

My endless search for a great hair salon has come to an end! Angela colored my hair and it came out awesome! I had highlights, which were a mess. *I got them done somewhere else.* They were different colors and damaged my curly hair extensively. Angela put a nice toner in and evened it all out. My hair looks awesome now! I definitely will be back.

I purchased a Groupon for Bella Vita and had no idea what I had found, a treasure! The front desk welcomed me like I was part of the family and another employee offered me wine or coffee. The best part, though, was my stylist Frankie. He and I hit it off immediately. He knows exactly what I want and did a fabulous job getting me ready for a job. He is so kind and compassionate. I didn’t feel like I was in the salon all day. I was in and out, which is important to me. I will definitely be back! Thank you Bella Vita for being so great!

Wonderful experience here. I got a mani/​pedi and it was excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, staff is great. Parking sucks for this place, limited spaces. Would recommend

I went to Bella Vita for the first time on December 31, thinking it would be packed with ladies getting ready for New Years Eve, but I was wrong. I called ahead and made an 11:00am appointment for a mani with gel /​shellac and a pedicure. YAY I got an appointment! The ambiance was relaxing, clean, and really well decorated. After I got my manicure (I think the tech’s name was Debbie), I then got a cut and blow dry with Vivian. I was very happy with it. I received very good compliments about my hair that night. I then went back to my nail tech for a pedicure. Cut and blow dry was $ 60.
The reason I’m only giving them a 3 star review is the following:
Within only a few hours (by that night) the gel on three of my nails (hand) was lifting and peeled/​chipped off. This has never happened to me before. Gel /​Shellac always lasts at least 2 weeks on me, and I’ve never had gel polish peel off with a few hours, especially not on 3 nails!!! That’s disappointing. For a $ 60 gel manicure and pedicure, I’m expecting perfect nails and that did not happen. :(
Additionally, they have a very very small selection of nail polish colors (both regular and gel). A girl needs choices! Bella Vita, you need to invest in more variety of colors.
Lastly, even though they notified me ahead of time when I made my appointment over the phone, it’s also unfortunate that the salon does not allow you to add a gratuity on the credit card, AND they do not accept American Express. This salon gives the appearance of being a high-​end salon, so I would think they would allow gratuity on credit cards, and that Amex would be accepted at a place like this.
I will definitely be coming back to do my hair with Vivian… but I will definitely NOT be returning to do my nails. I will be going elsewhere to do my nails. Somewhere that offers more colors and where my nail won’t peel within hours or days.

I loved, loved, loved this salon! I am incredibly picky with who cuts and styles my hair and Angela exceeded my expectations! She was friendly, open to my suggestions, and amazing at her job! I will absolutely be going back for both my hair and nails! I recommend this salon tenfold!

This salon is outstanding! I live in Orlando, but travel to Miami for work frequently. My friend recommended her stylist, Nancy, so I decided to try it out.

I had a first time appointment with Nancy and was treated like gold. I showed her an image of exactly what I wanted and she nailed it! I had highlights, lowlights and a cut and style. (I’ll post some Picts. :) I highly reccomend this salon and Nancy’s very talented services to EVERYONE!
