Great place for ambiance as mentioned by others. Food is actually pretty okay. I think management is screwing this place up. Had an e-coupon via that offered a free entrée with the purchase of another dinner entrée. Manager said they could not accept that. Obviously they were the one that advertised it and placed the coupon on . They said it needed to be printed. That website allows you to mark coupon as redeemed and doesn’t give you an option to print. 8 others used he coupon as well. We were told manager was texted and said no. In the end they agreed to honor it but will probably get in trouble because management sound like a bunch of shady people who don’t even know what their own advertisements say. Pretty disappointing. We spent over $ 500 here this past year, probably will cut that in half, management needs to be educated or fired. If you are bringing a coupon, be prepared to fight to get what it says!

Very meh. My salad was ONLY spring mix, with one half of ONE cherry tomato, probably about one teaspoon of egg and bacon, and no dressing. My waitress was nowhere to be found. wanting to get back on the slopes, I did not have time to wait around for her to come back. My boyfriend said his burger was ok. The $ 10 onion rings were pricey, but a huge serving, way too big for two to split. Truffle fries were nothing to write home about. The only reason I would come back is if it’s included with the lift ticket, which, sadly, means I will be back in a few weeks.

Great atmosphere! Whoever designed the bar & restaurant did a great job and I’d give them 5 stars! Unfortunately the staff wasn’t very friendly and service was rather average at best. I don’t think they like their jobs here much.(I’ve never been in the food service industry so NO I don’t understand what its like to serve food & drinks.) One of the bartenders did perk up and smile and became VERY friendly when his buddy showed up. That change in personality and friendliness caught my attention for sure. They have a good beer selection. Better quality beers are priced at $ 6.50 a pint. I think Miller Lights are 4 bucks. On that note, its time to hit the slopes!

Gave it another try since its 5 minutes from my house. Once again I was disappointed. The view and atmosphere is 2nd to none but the looooong wait and sub par service is just bad. The food is ok but not worth the higher prices and bad service. It’s a shame because it is such a nice place. I’d say stop and get a drink but that may be a 2 hour event.

I’ve eaten there 3 times. The last time I was served a steak sandwich on a moldy roll. They took care of it right away but I will think twice about eating there. It’s to bad it is a beautiful place!

I was told by my waitress that she was not permitted to give me a dessert to take home after I had my dinner. What’s up with that?

Be careful with the use of Promo Coupon. Because I ordered wine that was daily special, the coupon for«but one entrée, get one free was declined. Our waitress was very nice and I wasn’t in the mood for an argument, so I did not point out that I would be saving $ by paying full price for the wine and taking advantage of the coupon which brought us there in the first place!

The only reason they get 2 stars is the meal quality was very good after waiting for 1 hour from the time my order was taken until the time I got my food. We were seated in a very reasonable amount of time. The service we received was not good. Our food finally came as we were preparing to leave because it took too long to long to come. The waitress never asked if we wanted coffee or desert but just brought the check.

We were told it would be a tolerable wait time, turned out to be MUCH longer. We left after one hour wait around 9 pm.

1 star for the food. 1 star for the drinks. But totally a 5 for the ambience. We ordered the steak frites. I know it’s a ribeye but it was the fattiest piece ever. We sent it back and the waitress didn’t even ask if we wanted something else. So when she did come back my husband wanted to order something else and the waitress said new steaks are on the grill. She brings out another fatty pieces of steaks. This time we try to make the best of it. The drinks were not good. I had the sangria which tasted like juice. It’s too bad because this place is so beautiful and we were so excited when we found it. If you are going to come here have a beer and enjoy the ambience. $ 175.00 down the drain.

Pros– food is good. Atmosphere is awesome and amazing views. Cons– like other reviews service is extremely slow. We had a party of 8 and dinner took us 3 hours; we mostly ordered sandwiches, only 3 entrees. It seems that the wait staff has no idea how to actually organize the wait staff efficiency so that every table can have timely waits. The wait to order was forever! The wait for food was long also. And the food is very expensive. BTW if I have to wait keep the drinks coming. That way I have no idea how long I’ve been waiting. Due to the wait alone I will not return.

4th visit was good but not great. Service was not on the ball. I had to get my own beer at the bar when I got a table.

I eat here a lot because I ski at Blue Mountain. Their BLTs can be excellent and their fries are good. For drinks, they have life water on tap. Stay away from their Bbq chicken at all costs. It contains neither chicken nor bbq sauce.

The Slopeside Pub and Grill is everything you’d ask for from a ski lodge. Located at the Blue Mountain Ski Resort, this newly re-opened and expanded Pub now offers a larger dinning experience with a more traditional restaurant setting. The inside is warm and welcoming, very clean and well assembled, with a bar with high top tables and four tops throughout. The view is great and the atmosphere is spot on. We’ve dined at the Slopeside Pub and Grill a couple of times and haven’t been disappointed. The menu was written on a paddle; a pretty innovative way displaying a menu, with burgers, sandwiches, entrees, and salads. The drink menu was robust, serving mixed drinks, beer and wine. Although they didn’t have any featured craft beers on tap, they did have their house label Vertical Blue, an American Pale Ale brewed on site. For dinner, I had the Groomer, a phenomenal bacon cheese burger with homemade beer battered onion rings and blue mountain bbq sauce, with an option of regular fries, bay fries, or onion rings. The burger was incredible, and the bay fries were superb; seasoned well and served at just the right portion size for a day of afternoon shredding. I appreciated the superb taste without the overwhelming portion size that would have left me heavy and groggy on the slopes. Although I really liked the burger, I didn’t so much enjoy the Chicken Cordon Bleu. The two grilled chicken breasts were overcooked and dry. This is something I wouldn’t recommend. Overall I would highly recommend the Slopeside Pub and Grill to all parties wishing to take a break from the slopes to enjoy an awesome meal. I I do have a critique that I want to mention: Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly hostees but were told that we could not bring in beverages purchased from the upstairs Last Run Lounge, even though the waiter upstairs said that we could take those drinks downstairs without an issue. In fact, the waiter said, and I quote, «You can take them [the drinks] anywhere except your car.» No problem, we finished them outside but would have liked to have brought them into the Slopeside Lounge, as they were purchased on-site. We purchased those drinks upstairs thinking the Last Run Lounge offered the same food as last season. Unbeknownst to us, the Last Run Lounge now offers a smaller menu in-lieu of the Slopeside Pub and Grill downstairs which offers a much larger menu. Either you can, or you can’t brink drinks between the two on-site restaurants and we would have liked to have known that before hand.

I first went here when it was still new, and delious, with slow service. I always felt as though their portions were generous. Well… skip ahead and you’ll still find slow service. I mean SLOW. To the point where I forgot my boyfriend and I had ordered drinks. The food: the«loaded» nachos. Well, those shrank. For $ 13(plus $ 4 for steak on them) you get a few nachos with olives, a little sour cream, very little guacamole, no lettuce, tomato, salsa etc. My sister and I were beyond surprised at how much they downsized these and the price didn’t reflect it. Will not be ordering again. However, the steak on them was good. Sweet potato fries? Yuck. Cinnamon and sugar on them. I wanted French fries, not French Toast. My shrimp pasta dish was good. I would get it again IF I ever order food here again. Crab cake sandwich? Yet something else they shrank in portion size. Alcohol? Their drink specials were fair… when they finally came to the table. Eat here if you want a good view of mountains, seems as though that’s what this establishment is counting on. Overall, pretty disappointed.

Update: After posting this review I was contacted by the manager who apologized for what happened, and promised to make everything right. He blamed the error on the computer(of course) and said the extra charge was credited back to my account(I confirmed this with my bank). He also offered to buy us a drink the next time we visit, which we declined since we don’t plan on visiting again, but props to the manager for fixing the situation.

One of my favorite places to go in the spring, summer and fall! TONS of outdoor seating, a huge fire pit, and beautiful scenery! A great place for a date night, or a night with kids. We do both. Recently they were updating their menu, and expanding the kitchen. So the menu was limited, but should have more options soon. We didn’t have a problem ever finding something to eat though. Also, they have adirondack chairs with small fire pits in the grass, and you can buy s’mores kits for the kids, that come with metal s’mores sticks. So cute!

The service was pretty slow, and the food was just OK. My chicken sliders seemed like they were frozen and just heated up in the microwave. My friend’s veggie burger was burnt on one side like the cook threw it on the grill and never flipped it. Maybe he watched too many late night RonCo informercials…“Set it, and forget it.” Two of our friends ordered the turkey and bacon wraps which were they both liked, but seemed like they were asking for the world when requesting that the wrap be heated on the panini press. The bright spots were the location and the small, but good beer list. They had some seasonal beers on tap which was impressive considering this is off-season for them. The name doesn’t lie. The pub & grill is situated slopeside with nice views.

My boyfriend and I were at Blue Mountain this past weekend and were pleasantly surprised to find their Summit Lodge completely redone with an outdoor area. They added comfy chairs and fire pits interspersed between high top tables. There are multiple bars surrounding the area, and many different options for food. We got a miraculously nice day, 55 and sunny, and were stoked that we could enjoy the weather and sit outside. We decided to share a waffle(very excited about this new addition, even though they weren’t as good as VT) and have a beer and relax in the sun. It was lovely. When we started to get hungry we wandered over to one of the bars and ordered a couple more beers, chicken fingers, sweet potato fries, and the bison burger. Everything was pretty good, and I found the prices to be reasonable for a touristy spot. It was a great relaxing lunch before going back out on the slopes. We came at the end of the day as well to sit down and sip some hot chocolate before heading out. A really great addition to Blue!
