Boulevard Drive-In Restaurant

I like this place. The food is good the prices even better. Let’s face it where can you go these days and get a platter with salad bar for about10 bucks. I got the crabcakes and my wife got the turkey club sandwich and fries. The food came out fairly quickly and was very hot. The staff was friendly, I believe our servers name was Kelly or Shelly. She took great care of us and made a good experience even better.

Stopped in for a hotdog. Used to be a great place to stop but this time the dog was cold and the buns were stale.

We seemed to bother the cashier by trying to place our order. The girls at the ice cream bar, were very helpful and pleasant. Food was cooked, that’s about all I can say. Atmosphere of the resultant was different.

If you wanna feel like you’re eating in a nursing home, this is your place. Food is average. Staff is very friendly. The atmosphere was just really depressing.

This place is pure nostalgia! It takes me back to when I was a little girl… we would stop here on the way to my pop pop’s and I still get the same thing. I have tried different items, but I have found the perfect combination at the Boulevard… Seriously perfect… you need to try it… are you ready to hear what it is? A chocolate malt and a hot dog topped with chili, mustard, and onions… Every time I take a bite, a smile immediately appears on my face… just like when I was little and had not a care in the world. They are my absolute favorite hot dogs in the whole wide world…
It also takes me back to the 50’s with soda jerks and real homemade fast food… not that I’m old enough for that, but it makes me feel like I’m part of that history. Even if only for 20 minutes at a time, I’m transported to a simple time. From the ice cream and shakes. to the candy on the counter, and the hamburgers, you can’t help but feel pure old fashion americana.
Every time I’m in the area I must stop into the Boulevard… it calls to me and I answer. This place has a hold on me like no other and I will always hold a special place in my heart for the Boulevard.
