Sundance Villas by PVM

Just a word to those who want to party: DON’T come here. If you want to scream and crunch a beer can on your head, rent a VRBO in the middle of nowhere. Or go to Vegas.
Now if you want a wonderful quiet weekend with your significant other or to spend a relaxing weekend with the girls, you have found pure heaven. It’s quiet ²⁴⁄₇. Take groceries, bathing suit, (or not) and a few clothing items and you are set. Don’t overpack cause you likely won’t leave your villa much. The best.

Best customer service. Best accommodations. Best property manager, Ginny. Best pool and Jacuzzi. Not sure what else to say other than this was a very memorable experience.

Perfect bachelorette weekend for my daughter. Highly recommend over a hotel. If you want to relax, enjoy tanning in privacy and an in-​house massage, stay here!

though i have never stayed here — the lady i spoke with today about the location of the villas was so sweet — she knew we wanted to stay closer to the strip and recommended a beautiful Inn called Casa Cody. I don’t remember her name — but if you are reading this — THANK YOU — that was very nice of you. ***** 5 stars :)

My wife and I have stayed at the Sundance Villas twice a year for the past 5 or 6 years and we absolutely love it. This is our personal paradise. We have stayed at other places in the past, but they don’t even compare to the Sundance Villas. Each villa has it’s own kitchen, BBQ, private yard and a (very) private pool and Jacuzzi. There is daily house cleaning service, but we typically put the «Do Not Disturb» sign on the door and enjoy the solitude. The ladies that run the front office are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of things to do and places to see in the Palm Springs area. The in-​house massages are also wonderful and reasonably priced.
I must admit that it is a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. If I could afford it, we’d stay here at least once a month… If you want a peaceful and relaxing weekend, then this is the place for you. Just bring a change of clothes and a bag of groceries and you are all set. Everything else is provided.

I stayed at the Sundance Villas for several nights while taking a mini-​vacay to Palm Springs. I think Unilocal sums it up nicely: A-​OK.
Instead of a hotel room, Sundance Villas provides a whole guesthouse for you (and your travel-​mates) to stay in, with a full-​size living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, garage, and — get this! — your own private hot tub and miniature swimming pool. In typical Palm Springs style, the houses all have goofy names, and the one I was in was called ‘Time to Toast’. The grounds are really quite beautiful, with gardens and palms and fruit trees covering every square inch of the place. [And you wonder why there’s a water crisis every year?]
Also, each of the units is walled off from the neighbors, so you have plenty of privacy. Are you into sunbathing in the buff? Then this is the place for you! […Not that I would know anything about that…]
On top of all that, the owners leave you a complimentary fruit basket and wine when you check in. Definitely a nice touch.
During my time here, I enjoyed the location and the amenities and all… but, sadly, I really couldn’t get past a lot of problems in the unit itself. Here’s the run-​down:
1) Broken glassware in the kitchen cabinets
2) Random piles of dirt inexplicably lying around the backyard
3) «Hot» and «cold» water knobs switched in the shower
4) Some of the oogly-​est and most musty-​smelling bedding I’ve ever seen
5) A television that wouldn’t turn off once it was on (unless I unplugged it)
These problems were so random and scattered… but they were enough to be aggravating.
The verdict? Sundance is still A-​OK, but when (or if?) the proprietors make some minor repairs, things will be much much better.
