Love coming here whenever we get to this side of the valley. The black bean burger is a favorite and always great. The salad fresh with a tasty light dressing. We had a very attentive server and even the manager was checking in. The raw apple pie was tasty finish. Thanks as always for a satisfying meal. Can’t wait until you expand down toward La Quinta. Hint hint.

The menu is quite large which is good because it gives you a lot of veggie, vegan and meat/fish options. I had the Macro Bowl with Tempeh and it was quite tasty. Some flavours worked in the bowl better than others for my personal liking but it was an interesting and healthy meal nonetheless. I do find Palm Greens a bit pricier than other veg locations in North America however you get what you pay for here. The quality of the food and uniqueness of the menu is evident. For dessert I had the raw apple pie which was quite nice. A bit sweeter than my preference but if you have a sweet tooth and are feeling for a raw alternative I would order it. Both the bowl and the dessert were too big for me to finish in one meal.

I just want to start by saying, wow! «What an experience.» My food was horrible in flavor! I have always eaten healthy and just recently became a Vegan, and never complained about the taste of food. I took my food to go and asked for a side of tahini, and he really expected me to pay $ 2 for it. When I got home and took a few bites it really made me upset because the food needed flavor and this guy was really charging me to finish the cooks job. I believe that you should give the customer whatever complements their meal and makes their experience wonderful.

First time in Palm Springs and we stumbled onto this place. I am not vegan but the portobello burger was awesome. Service was good on Wednesday at the lunch hour.

We have been coming here for years during our visits to Palm Springs. While the organic ingredients are fresh and the smoothies healthy, the service has just become terrible. They switched a couple of years ago from an order at the counter format to a table service format. The problem is the didn’t actually add any employees to wait the tables. You even have to get your own room temperature water. The wait staff are friendly enough, but there is just 1 waiter for 20 tables. So we are now supposed to tip for this? Unfortunately I think we’re done waiting 10 min to be seated, 20 min to order, 30 min for food, and 20 min for our check. We will have to find another breakfast spot in the valley, unfortunately.

Service: exceedingly slow. Deliberate. Grouchy. Yuck. Food: bland. Gross. Boring. Didn’t seem like they’re using high quality ingredients. Even the avocado had ZERO flavor. Smoothies: yummy, but oddly, not sweet. It was missing the proper element of a good smoothie. The satisfying sweetness. Juice: suuuuuuper sweet. Way too much apple. Odd to juxtaposition that with the sort of salty smoothies. Shots: the apple cider vinegar made two of us extremely nauseous which lead to a lackluster meal. The e3 live was great but it’s e3 live– it’s always great. Won’t come back again. Ewwwwww. Meal cost us $ 84 even AFTER we used a 10% off Unilocal coupon. Save your dough and roll on by.

Dined here with a friend of ours that is a vegetarian because he has been dining with us at non vegetarian restaurants for the entire time we have been in Palm Springs. Our friend ordered a Black Bean Burger with cheese and they forgot to put the cheese on. He also ordered some potato empanadas and some chips and salsa. There were about ten chips on the plate with the salsa. The empanadas were tasty. So I understand that this restaurant caters to vegetarians and vegans, but it also has several items on the menu ranging from lamb to chicken to beef. The other two of us each ordered a dish with beef. I ordered a Hanger Steak and my friend ordered a cheese burger. The steak sells for $ 22 and the burger for $ 15 because they charged us $ 2 for the added cheese. The prices did not concern us too much because we are in Palm Springs. It was the size of the portions. The Black Bean Burger was tasty and the correct size, only lacking the cheese that was ordered with it. The beef burger was almost comical. There was at least an inch of bun between the edge of the bun and the patty. And the patty was probably only 1⁄8th of a pound. A $ 15 burger should be at least ¼# if not 1/3#. My Hanger Steak was comical too. I would consider that one of the lesser cuts of beef. While flavorful it is a tougher cut of meat. I was not given a steak knife to cut it. It was also quite small. I would say it was no more than 4 or 5 ounces. Definitely not $ 22 worth. As a comparison I paid $ 57 for a 12oz New York Steak at a fancy restaurant a couple of nights before. It was tasty too. But I definitely paid more per ounce for the steak I had tonight compared to the New York. Like I said, everything was tasty, the non vegetarians were short changed in the portion size department. The waiter was nice, but not very attentive and even forgot to take the extra cheese charge off of the veggie burger. You’ll see what I mean about the portion size on the hamburger and steak entrées. Two stars for portion size.

We had breakfast here this morning and boy it was fantastic! As a family of four Vegans we tried a variety of dishes. The blueberry buckwheat pancakes were great with maple syrup and fresh fruit. The vegan French toast was awesome. Best of all was the $ 15 breakfast platter. Scrambled tofu, smoked tempeh, pancakes with fruit and syrup. I added extra sausage too. Epic! So good we’re going back for dinner this evening… ** Update ** We’ve now had dinner here plus had breakfast again. Again, the food was great. A special mention to bhan mi sliders. They may sound like a secondary character from Star Wars but they’re actually spicy mini tofu burgers which taste amazing. I’ve seen some other reviews that say that you only get one of these but we definitely got two(for $ 9). The spinach lasagne was great and very creamy. We also had both versions of the Asian bowl(one with teriyaki and the other with peanut sauce). Both were great. The tofu hot dogs were also really nice. For dessert the tiramisu and chocolate brownie were fantastic. The strawberry tofu cheesecake was nice but a bit bland. All in, we’ve really enjoyed eating at Palm Greens. The only negative is the cost. It does seem to be expensive compared to anywhere else that we’ve eaten. The equivalent food at ‘Vegan Pizza’ in Anaheim is less than half of the cost(see my separate review for that place).

Not sure how this place has 4 stars. We made a reservation for a Saturday night, shortly before closing time. We were a few minutes late, but they still were able to seat us. That was a mistake, I wish they would have told us to go somewhere else. The server made sure to remind us over and over again that the kitchen is about to close. Maybe if that’s the case, he should have at least given us correct menus. Water and utensils were difficult to get. We place our orders and even though the kitchen was apparently about to close, we still waited forever for our food. The server made us pay the bill shortly after ordering PRIOR to any food actually coming out. I have literally never experienced this before. The food was another issue. I got the hanger steak that wasn’t very good. After getting my platter I proceeded to ask the waiter what happened to my sides. The menu stated that the hanger steak came with rice, veggies, and yam something or other(mashed?). I asked the waiter what happened to the yams– apparently they were out, but he didn’t bother telling me before or after I ordered. I was given something else in place(maybe mashed potatoes but I couldn’t tell). What happened to the veggies? Oh they are mixed in with the rice. I guess I did see a piece of a broccoli floret or something in my white rice. In summary, rude service, mediocre food– waste of time and money. Go somewhere else

The 3 stars are for their smoothies only, as over priced as they are. 1 star can be shared for the Bahn mi and vegan white bean chili lunch combo, which I ordered togo. Bahn mi description on Unilocal showed 2 little sandwiches. When I received actual combo — was 1 little baby sized slider. Relooked at menu and sure enough language said slider. Singular. Bahn mi is supposed to have pickled veg. of carrot cucumber cilantro etc! This was a dinner biscuit with creamy cabbage coleslaw, tofu and sriracha vegenaise. Nothing Bahn mi about it. & White bean vegan chili was more like white beans in ketchup water. $ 20 incl togo tip — I feel like a sucker.

Service was rude and incredibly slow; we waited 15 minutes at the door before someone came over and rudely said«how many?» without a hello. Then said it’d be 10 minutes at which we asked about outside and he just handed us menus. So after seating ourselves we waited another 15 minutes before the same guy finally came out to take our order. So over half an hour of rudeness and being ignored before we even get asked if you want anything. I was ready to walk out but my partner wanted a salad. When my Caesar finally arrived, the dressing was awful and the croutons were inedible — I was worried about chipping a tooth on them. The lettuce seemed fresh, so it was a big plate of dry lettuce. And my partner found a hair in her salad. Stay away if you place any value on your time.

Easily one of the best vegan breakfasts I’ve ever had. Food was so flavorful and seasoned perfectly(I had the hash. Maple glaze was unreal) and the gluten free toast was just perfect(homemade apple jam/sauce was amazing!). Adorable little outdoor patio area(‘peewees puppy patio’. dog friendly, love it!) and fantastic service. Wish there was one of these in San Diego, what a gem! I’ll be making more trips out to Palm Springs just come back here!

Nice and quiet restaurant located in an unsuspecting area of «the strip“in Palm Springs. On the Thursday night I visited the parking lot was almost empty making me think I was in the wrong location. Once I found the dimly lit Palm Greens Café I made my way in and waited a little to be seated. This took a while as there was only one waiter who was probably one of the two people on staff; the other being the chef. The are two regular booths and two walls with one both bench. The place is small felt a little cramped. It was a little empty inside and I was seated in the center and had to duck a few times when someone would walk by. Definitely more of an intimate setting . at least when I visited. The waiter was definitely hustling his way through the restaurant and did an effective job at that. He was friendly courteous. I found the selections to be nice, vegan or non-vegan. My choice was the Macrobiotic Bowl with salmon. From other Unilocaler’s photos it looked delicious with the fresh black beans, yams, and kimchi. I had high hopes but was let somewhat letdown because my bowl did not seem fresh. The beans were clumpy as if they were sitting out and the kimchi tasted«off,» but that’s just my experience. The yams were the highlight of the bowl, everything else was a little bland. I managed to taste my friend’s Cheesecake. After I tried it, the one bite turned onto almost eating the whole thing! The crust was delicious. At $ 4.00, the Lavender Lemonade is pricey. It’s homemade and refills are free. It’s fragrant and light. I thought it was great and kind of worth it as you are able to refill and refill. Overall, I’d visit again to try some other interesting items, but I may choose some more affordable options on the area and have a very long time to spare.

It’s not really fair to give 5 stars to a restaurant for only trying one item, but that item has sent me on a search for the recipe so I can have this amazing item in my life in Minnesota! There are 2 ‘date walnut’ shakes or smoothies on the menu. Go for the one that has no ice cream or yogurt — it is a pure date & walnut drink or smoothie that is the most deliciously haunting thing you will have while there. I made it my breakfast run 2 out of 3 days & no matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to replicate this magic at home. Delicious!

The vibe of this place is way off but I’ll start from the beginning. We come in and wait for the hostess to sit us for dinner. A waiter sits us at a little table two feet from the door or from where we are standing all while the place is filled with booths(all empty except a few). We asked if we could sit at a booth and he said«um, I don’t know. I guess so» so we get seated at a booth closest to the door that was dirty underneath with food. The waiter comes back a bit while later to take our order. My boyfriend got a small meal and the waiter replied«what, your not hungry?» Thought that was interesting. After we ate it took awhile for the waiter to even come back around not to mention that he never came back to check on us to see how our food was, which was sub par. We paid and got out as fast as we can. Being there felt like we were not wanted & it was awkward. For example, while waiting for our food another group came in followed another group behind them. They were waiting a few minutes and the waiter comes up saying sorry you’ll have to wait a few minutes then he goes off and takes another’s order that has been waiting. Then once finished he yells across the room«ladies, ladies, your table is here». There was a guy in their party. Everyone in the place looked up at them. Also, I want to mention that they have plastic cups & the napkins are the type from the bathroom dispenser. Yes the towels that you wipe your hands with that then you throw away. I don’t get the whole greens vegan/vegetarian vibe mixed with plastic cups and throw away napkins. It was all off. Very cheap. Little update: They charged me twice.

I love this special café in Palm Springs! I first came here as a pit stop on my way to Arizona. 7am, I opened the restaurant, drank unlimited cups of good coffee, and devoured vegan biscuits and gravy. I was full for the rest of my trip(until I hit my next vegan food destination in Phoenix — Nami’s!). Tonight, I came here for dinner, and was delighted with the diverse vegan options. I had to resist ordering all of the tapas! I managed to practice restraint and went with the toast points and tofu banh mi sliders. I loved my food, but the sliders were especially delicious. The only downside was that they ran out of tiramisu. Boo! The waiter recommended a mint chocolate pie instead. I enjoyed the filling, it tasted like really rich and stiff ice cream, but the(raw?) pie crust didn’t jive with the minty flavors. When it was busy, service was slow but friendly. They apologized for the wait and explained there was only one guy in the kitchen. With only two people on the floor, that isn’t a lot of manpower to run a restaurant, but they made it work. This place is the best in Palm Springs if you need to satisfy omnivores, carnivores, and vegans. We’ll be back!

The 1 star is for the food, the service was horrendous, we arrived at 12:35 and waited 30 minutes to get seated while there were empty tables. Told the waiter we wanted a drink for my daughter to arrive first and we were ready to order. He walked away and took another table’s order. We waited 40 minutes for our meals to arrive and my daughter never did receive her drink and had to leave. They were rude and purposely treated us poorly, I will never go back there again and suggest you do not go there. They do not appear to care about business and servicing the customers.

We were extremely excited about trying this place out to be hugely let down. Should have known from the get go when a manager(we assume) said he just sat people down and the need to clean a couple tables before they could help us. After a good 10 minute wait we finally sat down to order a gluten free oats dish and the acai bowl. Both took 20 mins+ to prepare and we just watched as 3 other tables all had issues with their orders. One person walked out. That said, once we got our meals you could tell nothing was fresh and everything was sitting in the fridge for a while. My bowl looked like sludge and tasted of ice. The oats were bland with even all the old fruit overall disgusting food and I’m not sure the server cared. That said, this is one rating way too high on Unilocal and I highly DONOT recommend.

Best vegan grubbin’ I’ve found thus far in Palm Springs. How good, you say? Good like, «we ate there for breakfast and then dinner the same day» good. «Three times in two days» good. Their brunch game is tight, smoothie game is on point, sandwich game is kickin’, house made sauce game is money, staff game on that helpful chill level. I can’t get enough. I hope to some day meet my death by drowning in a vat of their vegan biscuits and gravy.
