STAYAWAYATALLCOSTS!!! At first I really liked Mayhem… They have a nice little shop, and a pretty good selection of everything. A knowledgeable staff, and a lot of stuff you sometimes wouldn’t even find in a normal smoke shop! I purchased a water pipe… and also decided to splurge and get the vaporizer they have that’s like the volcano but half the price, Think it was called the Phantom… was $ 200+. I was really excited to use it after all the features and how to use it where explained to me. Unfortunately it did not work once I tried it at home. The vape was leaking out of the top but not actually filling the Bag up at all. You could tell something was wrong with this one from the inside with the heating or mechanically. I immediately called the shop back to let them know that it wasn’t working properly. To make a long story short… I had to call the shop back, and go in two different times after this to actually get store credit… to buy more products that didn’t work. The owner really stands behind his NOREFUNDS policy! I thought a business owner would rather keep his customer happy… get him his refund or store credit quick… not say he has to go through the manufacturer and wait 2 – 3 weeks for him to be able to test it himself… to make sure I was doing it right… and to contact the manufacturer. I then purchased a snoop dogg vape for over $ 100 with my «Store Credit» That took 2+ weeks of phone tag & going in to get. The snoop vape did not work or heat up correctly either after them inspecting it. I feel that he might buy a lot of his products really cheaply or knockoffs from LA or china and re sell them for full price or a big profit. That is why he will not take something back right away that clearly doesn’t work right. He has to contact manufactures & try and get his $ back before he will give you store credit… instead of doing it right away and dealing with the other company on his own time… It’s called an overhead… you own a business, sometimes you lose $ to keep a customer happy and continuing to come back. The owner owns another shop in the LA area… he splits his time between the two… Every time I attempted to try and talk to him via phone or in person he was always not available or was supposed to call me back and never did. They dropped the ball multiple times when they said they would have an answer for me by a certain date… and I would be calling them back 2 – 3 days after more than twice. I felt bad, like I was bugging them… to get an actual product that cost $ 100-$ 200 to actually work the way it’s supposed to. I don’t know how they have a one $ cost rating as well, 75% of their products are actually pretty expensive. Bottom line, Mayhem is the owners 2nd priority… as well as his reputation with customers. He cares more about $$$ and his bottom line than making & building lasting relationships with customers and doing what’s right.
