Store is closed. Really bummed as this was one of my favorite places in PS. Guess it was hard to compete in a competitive market but their stuff was always the best

Awesome midcentury décor at affordable prices. The owners have chosen such a great variety of items from little knicknacks, to ittala glassware, to large pieces of furniture. I could spend some serious time and money in this great store.

Great selection of home goods. Owner has a eye for modern wares. Beautifully displayed and priced really well. A great place to dress up your home. Craig and Clark the managers are so nice, professional and very helpful. A very nice boutique.

The best furniture shopping experience I’ve had! We had been looking for months for dining room chairs (the last major item in our complete remodel) and stumbled across Distinctive Home on a trip to Palm Springs. The store is cheerfully small but everything is of top quality, style and just so «Palm Springs». And Craig was incredibly helpful, kind and just a pleasure to work with.
We found chairs that were very similar to ones from Design (not) Within Reach but at a third of the price. They didn’t have the color we wanted in stock or in the showroom, but I was willing to order regardless.
After we paid, set up delivery (once they were made) and left, Craig was fantastic about not only sending us photos (both in the sun and inside) of the fabrics, but went a step beyond and actually sent us fabric samples to compare in our home before the chairs were finished.
His suggestion was perfect and the chairs arrived in top condition (out of dozens out of items ordered from other places that showed up late, incorrect or damaged, Craig and Distinctive Home wowed us by showing up perfectly and required very minimal assembly).
We will definitely be back!

This is so Palm Springs and all the Retro Vibe you can want… We loved the store from the moment we walked in… The colors of the moment were everywhere, Tangerine, White, Yellow and lime Green… what a flash back, and oh so fun.
I bought a few gifts for friends, I loved the wrap and bag to just give and the owner was just so kind… Its Palm Springs at its best.

This is a great store with very cool retro/​modern items that really do make your home distinctive. I come out to PS to get away from the OC life once in a while and stumbled on this cool place. I ordered something over the phone and they shipped to me the very next day! Great customer service! Craig (I believe his name is) did a great job on my order! A++

LOVE this place! If I could have given more than 5 stars, I would! The owner was delightful and I loved almost everything in the store… it’s a good thing we were on our way TO dinner and I didn’t want to carry stuff all night or I would have spent a small fortune!
Do not ms this store when you hit Palm Springs!

Lovely hand blown martini glasses, very artfull.
Very carefully wrapped, my mom and sister purchased them for my husbands b-​day and the service was impeccable.
I can’t wait to visit this place in person.
