Every time I look at my Motel plate I think of the great time we had in your store! Can’t wait to visit again and share stories, the couple from the OC adore you! Keep your leg in the restroom, we will be back! Cannot wait to add more of your fabulous eye to our home, so love your work!

This is the same as the MichaelWeems collection since it’s a connected gallery so I’m posting the same review I did for that one since it included both aspects. Michael is my newest addition to my collection of best friends. He and I both joked in filthy jokes. The colours of the place attracted me as my hubby and I walked to ward another gallery to pick up a sculpture we bought earlier. On the way back to the car I had to stop in because the trays and vintage circus display in the window screamed, «girl you better get your ass in here and cool off then buy some sh! t». Thus I followed the orders I was given. Immediately I loved the tray I saw do three nude guys peeling into urinals, but Michael steered to to the better«candy tray» with the X-ray of a BJ. My brain screamed«must have!!!» Yes I’m classy. Immediately I put that at the cash wrap. As I was walking there I saw these awesome metal sculptures looking like paper cranes or airplanes on the wall. Brain again voiced«get those now!» So I did. Then I saw rings that were much too big for any human finger and I joked with said proprietor and my husband blushed and tried to hush me. Yes I’m an embarrassment. So then we went into the awesome room with the photos on the vintage car scraps and I was in awe. Though I was unable to purchase the one I wanted(right now anyway) we walked away with a beautiful print of the sign with the girls diving. I’m headed back to PS next month with a bunch of girlfriends and you better believe I’m stopping by this establishment. Get ready to talk Michael I’m coming! Xo

Anyone who’s a fan of kitsch, car culture, or the lore of the«Great American Roadtrip» will love Autoerotica. A little funny, a little kooky, and very, very impressive take on Americana and the lure of the open road. If Michael Weems wanted me to get in his car, destination unknown, no questions asked, I’d totally take that trip. But since that’s prolly creepy — I’ll take the trip his art provides.

Can’t speak highly enough about this great art shop! Just come here! Michael is a wonderful artist and welcoming proprietor. His partner, Rigo, is a ceramics teacher so of course he does the ceramics here. We loved the tshirt and Mod plates. It’s a contemporary take on Americana – old car parts, Route 66 signs and some cool pieces based on vintage nudes and otherwise. And nope, we ain’t taking Bieber with us even if the front sign says so. Love the bright dead baby heads and colourful powder coated silver serving trays, too. Can’t wait to return to buy more. The tshirts are def. a cool find especially for those on a budget. *note* — They have a shop in Wimbledon, too, but they need one in Yvr! They certainly boast the catchiest signage in town, too.
