Cabana Shores Tiki Bar & Grill

Just for the record I rarely give a 5 STAR but this place was very cool outdoor type location. Very friendly staff and the food was the best I have had in two months here in the area. The burger was out of this world and the home breaded chicken strips just as good. GREAT JOB
I have to take away a star for I have a problem with a business who does a special then won’t let you take it to go. Chase away business is never a smart idea plus it cost them 3 other meals because they wouldn’t allow the chicken wing special as a To go item.

Great place to come and relax, always a nice breeze off the river. The waitresses are all so nice and attentive, when I walk in the door before I even sit down I have a cold Land Shark waiting for me. The food is very good, especially when Josh the owner brings in fresh fish he caught that morning. Everything is good, I have never had a bad meal here. KUDOs to Kaitlyn, Elaine, Lexi, Brittany, Kira and Diana, to many others to remember, you guys make this place rock

I am a local, and have been going here for years… never had a bad meal. in fact I judge all the other places around here by cabana’s food. Best burger hands down. Everything is fresh, you can have it Clean (low calorie offerings) or Dirty (bacon, queso dip etc). My only complaint is that they did way with the monster quesadilla’s they used to serve… but they replaced it with a chicken parm sandwich that is really good. (hey owners bring back the quesadillas!). This is a nice little place, cold beer and good food, the service is fine… I have never had bad service here…
I have seen a lot of posts on this page complaining about how long it takes for the food to come out. You know what… stick with McDonalds if you can’t wait 15 minutes for a burger to cook… what a bunch of losers. I’m from New York and I know the type. They cook all there food to order, even the French fries, real French fries, not the frozen ones. So yeah it might take 15 or 20 minutes to get an order… shut up and drink your beer!

Okay — coming here since Day 1, have posted some good, and some not so good reviews. It was always hit, or miss.
Tonight was amazing! Brought a friend from out of town and was proud to have brought her here for dinner. The tuna and shrimp tacos were fantastic. The tuna appetizer delicious — cook was definitely on his game!
Kaitlyn, our server was best to date. Friendly, courteous, respectful and fun with tons personality — a home run!
If they continue this, no one will be disappointed — the food and service was… perfect.

Great view. Came on a chilly fl jan afternoon. Had propane heaters to keep us warm. Fast service snd great food. Clean or dirty options. Clean is made in olive oil, dirty in butter. Had the mahi platter. Great sides and fish cooked perfectly. Mimosa special. Great variety on menu, burgers, tacis and seafood entrees. Great prices. Potato app very good. Lots of cheese and bacon. No full bar, Great local place.

Love Cabana Shores. My favorite are their garlic parmesan wings. Nice sized wings and ooh the fried mushrooms. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The best fish tacos around. Get the buffalo mahi. I have never been disappointed here. Much better than long doggers. And the service is usually good. This is one of my favorite places to go in the area.

Moved to FL 3 years ago. This was the first place we ate out at. Ever since its been our favorite. We love the chicken nachos clean, the burgers, the wings especially the bayou bbq. Service is always great and you can’t beat the atmosphere and you get some dum dums when you get your check. My only wish is to some day order a mixed drink here. Only beer and wine for now.

This place has been on point last couple times we’ve been here. Great outdoor atmosphere with views of the river. Mahi and Tuna have been exceptional. Their clean or dirty option gives dishes a twist. A couple craftish beers, but could expand a bit. Tiki hut over the complete place makes for a definite unique place!

This place sucks. The bartenders are moody and barely say a word. Feels like I did something wrong. Will never come back. Loser place.

Went for a Sunday lunch. Food was delicious. Had jalapeño balls and fried mushrooms. Both were very good! Jalapeño balls are nice and spicy. Mushrooms didn’t have a lot of flavor but the were good. Also enjoyed the wings. Medium– pretty hot. Bayou BBQ– was mouth watering. JT’s dry rub– one of the best flavor a I have ever put on wings! Atmosphere is great. Awesome breeze off the river and pretty relaxing for being right off US-​1. Will be returning soon!

Met a friend for lunch at this great little open air place overlooking the Indian River. Ordered the steak sandwich on my friend’s recommendation and got it «dirty.» It was delicious! Only complaint would be I ordered the steak medium rare and while it was still nice and tender the steak was actually almost well done. I didn’t send it back because it was still tasty. I’ll definitely be back!

Open tiki bar/​restaurant great view of the river, food is amazing staff is attractive and attentive. You get a free drink at 4:20 everyday. You have to go when Brittany is working she is the best bartender ever!

Been here twice now, and I am happy that the food is as good as the fun, casual ambience. We’ve enjoyed the Southern Florida Fries, jalapeño balls and my guacamole burger was pretty good. Staff is friendly. Great place to go! Look forward to bringing our out of town visitors here.

We ate dinner there on Friday 4÷10÷15. The atmosphere is great. An open air tiki bar. The food was good. We had a mahi caesar wrap and the guac burger. Both were tasty and prepared well. The waitress was nasty. She was rude. She was the worst I have ever experienced. She seemed inconvenienced the entire time. At one point we overheard her saying «all these people need to go home». It was a shame. It ruined the whole night.

Stopped in with a friend and had a pretty good burger. The service was okay, and we were happy with the meal.

Large tiki hut type setting with large bar. Bar food was good and very little wait. Special beer on tap. Over looks the river, but US 1 is in between river and bar.

I was visiting my friend in Florida last week and we went to this place for lunch.
I have never in my life had a worse experience with waitstaff. Leslie I think her name was. She was the rudest, most unpleasant waitress I’ve EVER encountered. Our food took forever to arrive, she never refreshed our drinks and made zero apologies at how long we waited.
I know I’ll never return and my friends who live there will never go back again either.

I ate here for lunch this week and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. I was expecting mediocre food from word of mouth, but I actually loved my food! I ordered the Dirty Cabana burger cooked medium with light queso and the onions and bacon on the side. My burger was tasty, and the bacon was very flavorful. I probably shouldn’t have asked for light queso on it because I really liked it and would have enjoyed more, but I was trying to cut a few calories since I was being so unhealthy. I chose the pasta salad as my side, and it had a unique twist with Parmesan cheese and basil in it. I definitely recommend my dish! My mom also enjoyed a burger while her friend got a shrimp salad.
The staff was friendly for the most part although our waitress did seem a little peeved with our order modifications from the menu (light queso, etc), but she got everything right! I could have done without the flies and bees flying around during our meal though. I enjoyed the ambiance and liked the tiki hut. Also, as a marketing professional, I liked their menu advertisements of clean vs. dirty pertaining to the way you want your food. I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could and will definitely be back. I especially want to try the happy hour, and I read on the wall that they give a free drink to everyone everyday at 4:20 to celebrate (celebrate what is the question!).
