Tender’s Treats

I struggle to write this review because the owner seems very friendly. Unfortunately, did not have a good experience myself.
Worked for several hours (back and forth) to put together an order for a special delivery while visiting the Tampa area. The order was all set and was going to be delivered to my hotel room on the requested date/​time. I submitted online payment through PayPal after the owner e-​mailed me the invoice details and I e-​mailed her back that I would make the payment online.
Fast forward 2 days… the time that the delivery was supposed to be made came and went and there was no delivery. When I called to inquire, she said there was no payment so the baked goods were never put into the schedule. I get that she needs her money but after having my cell phone number and my e-​mail address and all the back and forth communication, I do not understand why she did not call or confirm whether I was still interested in the delivery surprise.
Luckily, there are other bakeries in the area that were able to accommodate the last-​minute request. Overall, friendly lady but disappointing customer service.
