Love the small atmosphere. The gelato is awesome. Just the basic chocolate itself is amazing. My kids love it here and call it «little spoon» because of the small spoons. Also they have non-​dairy options which is a must for my wife. We always take visiting family here and the owners and staff offer the most family friendly atmosphere. We go often but the owners made us feel like regulars right off the bat. When we moved here it made an impact on us because we felt like locals right away who have lived here all our lives. Great place to go.

THIS IS THE BEST DESSERT/​COFFEE PLACE IN THE WORLD! Leila and Mario are amazing and make you feel right at home as soon as you walk in and by the time you leave you feel like they’re your best friends. The gelato is homemade, imaginative, and absolutely incredible! I recommend the affogado which is gelato (any flavor you want, i often combine 2 or 3 different flavors) drowned in 2 shots of expresso. Its a truly spiritual experience. I get it every time i go often with an absolutely magical cannoli. My mouth is watering just thinking about it

Best gelato made fresh. Really good desserts and the best coffee in town. The crepes are delicious. You are treated like family from the moment you walk in. The environment is very family oriented. Everyone is very friendly.

Best gelato I’ve ever had and the atmosphere is amazing! I got the Piña colada gelato and my boyfriend got the Guinness and chocolate gelato. Would highly recommend both!

It is about time that I finally tried this place. The owner is a sweetheart. I asked to try most all the flavors because I couldn’t figure out my most favorite. I liked the Pralines and Cream, sea salt caramel, strawberry balsamic, tiramisu, Rocher, all of them.
I finally picked the tiramisu and strawberry. It was so good and creamy. Felt so nice on my throat that’s been bothering me. They also have beerlatos which is beer with different types of gelato. They even have a pairing chart. They have flights as well where you pick four gelato flavors and try it with your beer. They have moscato wine with lemon gelato. They also have coffees, cannolis, and desserts.
We will be back for sure to try all their fun variety!

The owners of cool side gelato are brothers with fireside pizza.
The husband and wife duo of this establishment treat you like you are family as soon as you walk through the doors.
I haven’t gotten a gelato that I haven’t liked from here.
The have new flavors all the time but my favorite is tiramisu and my husbands is pistachio.
This place is a must.
If I could give this place more then 5 stars I would in a heart beat.

Hand-​crafted gourmet gelato and desserts in an adorable little house. The pralines and cream gelato was beyond delicious — the pecans were roasted, still had some crunch, surrounded by gooey buttery caramel and vanilla. Still thinking about it… ;) Pricey yet totally worth it. Love that they have a tiny size cup (less than a half cup?) so I can at least try to control myself.

I don’t know which is better; The delicious desserts OR the owners of this place?! LOL. They’re so hospitable, & they really appreciate the business.
You will not be disappointed at all– coffees, gelatos made fresh, cakes, pies, crepes. This place is really good.

Lisa D said it best, «hidden gem,» because of all the times I’ve been in the area, the magnetic pull of other places has reeled me in, leaving Coolside by the wayside. The joke’s on me though. Homemade gelato, not shipped in a box on a Sysco truck like most places that offer up the creamy frozen treat. Plus beer, which they make BEERLATOs with. Yes, beer + gelato = BEERLATO. My visit was a bit early in the day, so beer wasn’t an option for me, but you can bet you ass it will be next time. I opted for a stiff single-​shot iced coffee until my friend suggested I was less of a man for not ordering a double shot. It was fantastic, strong and brought life back into my lethargic body after driving around all morning.

The owners Mario and Leila are as sweet as their gelato and desserts! They truly did gelato right! My personal favorites are salted caramel and I typically do the other half Jacobs chocolate!
Can’t beat grabbing pizza from Fireside next door and walking over to grab some gelato. It’s a must try in the area don’t let this diamond in the rough go unseen!

Great service. Best location for a nice cup of coffee and dessert or a very nice gelato. We just keep going back for more either to sit and relax out front or just to take home. Definitely a must place to go.

What an adorable place! My cousin and I stopped in while taking a walk and had a Guinness gelato float. It consists of chocolate gelato in a pint glass and then guinness poured in and she smooshes it all together. It’s amazing. Not too sweet and low-​calorie. Heck yeah. The gelato is great. They seem to have a great variety. And the owner is super sweet. She was so helpful and friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could get gelato every day :) I will definitely be back again!

This place has everything awesome! Coffee, gelato, crepes, and now home of the BeerLato… I am not a fan of pistachio ice cream but theirs is fantastic.
I’m particularly very happy with their coffees… I get one every time I go.
The owners of Coolside are supper supper sweet. They make the experience that much nicer! My son loves this place and so do we.

Authentic gelato! Been to Italy and this place is legit. Mom and pop owned, friendly, quaint. Good stuff! Had Jacob’s Chocolate, coffee and tiramisu. Delicious. We will be back!

Another place I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed yet!
Woahhh. Coolside is amazing. I mean AMAZING. Their gelato is absolutely to die for. My favorites are the vanilla and tiramisu flavors. I generally get half and half.
Their coffee is great as well and gives a damn good jolt. I can’t remember the name of the company, but its from a local artisan.
The owners are legit the nicest people you were ever meet and really love what they do. They put their hearts into their business and wonderful gelato and it shows.
I’ll be back… probably tonight… because now I’m craving it after writing the review :)

. I had the wasabi chocolate almond gelato. It was so freaking good. When I go back I will have to try a cannoli. The owners are very nice. If you are in the mood for some ice cream you should definitely give cools ode gelato a try.
Cool side is located right next to Fireside.

This is the real thing, straight from Italy by way of New York. The owners did everything they could to make gelato properly, including training from an Italian gelato master!
Leila was quite friendly, describing how just one trip to Italy inspired the opening of this shop! I understand, since our first trip to Italy also changed our perceptions of great fresh food, forever.
We enjoyed our homemade gelato while sitting outside on a beautiful cool day. I had homemade biscotti crunched up in mine. My wife had this incredible wasabi chocolate almond flavor that stretched all gelato boundaries!
Go here. Order gelato. Win.

Just opened a month ago.
They have the BEST gelato I have had outside of Italy. Every flavor I’ve tried here are amazing, Apple pie, pumpkin, and Italian vanilla to name a few.
It is in Historic Downtown Palm Harbor so stop by after dinner and you won’t regret it.
