Our insurance did not cover our services here, HOWEVER due to lack of options we stayed. They got our 18 month old in very quickly, about 10 mins after we got there. The nurse was nice and efficient, the doc came in and quickly diagnosed the problem(it was fairly obvious he had croup). They allowed us to administer the oral steroid which was awesome!(no tears!!!) When it was time to pay up, with no insurance mind you, it ended up being less than she originally told us by $ 75AND there was no charge for the oral steroid. MUCHMUCH cheaper than ER copay so we were happy campers to say the least. Kudos to this companies location. Super fast, efficient and easy. While not carrying our insurance sucked, which nobody really does anyway, it was a good experience and we will come back should an urgent care visit be required again!

This place is fantastic! Our pediatrician sent us here in hopes that they could help my son, rather than going to the ER and incurring a high cost for something that needed attention, but did not require the ER, by far. Ah! Thanks doc! For starters, the place is very easy to find and park. As Mom, I was in a bit of a panic. Check in was fairly easy and quick. The office was super kid friendly and very clean. It’s huge, the nurse said 24 rooms with additional triage beds. There was only 1 child ahead of us, so we were in and out in under an hour. The doctor that we met was very friendly and thoroughly explained what needed to happen. He offered a dose of Tylenol if he thought my little guy was in pain. Ah, love a doctor who trusts Mama’s intuition! The only downside were the rooms were very small and a bit claustrophobic. They had 1 examining table and a rocking chair with a television mounted on the wall. In a way it was nice because I could let my little guy go and not have to worry about him getting into anything or hurt himself. It was on the west side of the building though and the afternoon sun made the room unbelievably hot. Hey, a small price to pay for excellent care. Will definitely be back!

We were referred here by out primary care doctor and I can say that I am happy with the referral because they were fantastic! From the second I walked in the door they were so kind and when they treated my 3 year old son that had a big cut on his head they were so nice to him to make sure that he was comfortable and not freaking out the entire time. The place opens at 5 o’clock, hence the name, After Hour Pediatrics. They take insurance, but also had the prices on a board if you don’t have insurance and need to be seen. The place was very clean and had movies playing to calm the kids down. When we went into the room, they had another movie playing to help with distraction! I hope that I won’t have to attend here often, but if I do have to go back I know that my son will be in good hands with nurses and doctors here!

Referred here by my little one’s pediatrician, the team was awesome! The wait was very short though there were other people waiting. Every point of contact/staff was pleasant and professional. Most importantly they were able to figure out what was wrong and get it resolved by providing the medicine to my child right away and wrote a prescription that would be effective but cost efficient. They seemed to be highly recommended by word of mouth and they strive to make sure each patient and their family gets the gold treatment.

We were recently traveling in Florida and wound up with a kid with what we thought was an ear infection. A little research, and we found this very interesting alternative. After Hours Pediatrics seems very popular with the locals. We found a number of web references and newspaper articles about it. We ended up there our first evening in town, and found a nice office, designed for children, and friendly, helpful staff and a doctor who didn’t think a kid was just a micro-sized adult. We didn’t wait long, the doctor quickly confirmed our suspicions, prescribed antibiotics, sent the prescription on to a pharmacy, and we were on our way in about an hour total, not bad for urgent care/no appointment service. We’re still waiting to see how they deal with our insurance company, and all that, but barring any major screwups on that front, we’re extremely pleased.
