TJ’s Steaks Pasta & Spirits

I’d rate it 0 stars if I could. I called in and couldn’t make out what the bartender was trying to say because she was so inebriated. She couldn’t help me out in anyway, couldn’t answer any of my questions she would just start talking about God knows what that had nothing to do with what I asked because she was so drunk, hung up on me 3 times. They let patrons leave their bar completely wasted, obviously to the point they can’t drive even after multiple people tell the owner that he shouldn’t let them drive home. He brushes it off quoting: «he’s got his bar under control n it was none of my business whether my friend got home ok» because «he took care of it.» Which he did not, she drove home. Luckily I was able to have a friend of hers check on her and she wasn’t injured but just car issues. If you want to go to a bar to get shit faced without anyone caring whether you get home ok, TJ’s is the place to go! After 18 stitches in my forehead and $ 10,000 in medical fees from a drunk man hitting me with a stool for NO REASON whatsoever solely because he was shit faced and confused me with someone else, I think that’s a good enough description as to what this bar holds their «standards» to (if they even know what that word means). All in all, avoid this property at all costs. Sorry I’m not sorry for speaking the honest truth about this place. Everything I mentioned is factual. If you’re reading this Joel, (the owner) get it together before you get a lawsuit or run your «business» to the ground. People only go there to get hammered and no one stops them from getting behind the wheel. I’m sure you know that’s a responsibility of yours as a bar owner to make sure your patrons get to their destination safely or that’s a lawsuit and you could lose your business license. I’m sure you already know that so, in my opinion, I believe you should start trying that out for a change. Good luck!

Sooo went for a drink… Guy at the bar wanted to buy us drinks but obviously had hostility with the bar tender and and would not let him buy us drinks. We’re really rude to the guy and he spent a lot of money and the bartender straight up told him I don’t need your money. The owner was there and threatened a patron in front of us. Something about the patron sticking up for the bar tender and the Owner telling him to mind his place … So obviously a lot of in house hostility. We Are from out of town (like most this year). Would not return due to the Unprofessionalism of the bartender and owner. Place is clearly a dive and if you are from out of town it is a very poor experience. Bar tender was Nancy. Not sure of the owners name

Day time bartender is the best. Really friendly and always have something to snack on !

Try the white pizza, it’s awesome. Friendly staff, and relaxed small bar atmosphere.

TJ’s is a great little bar. I don’t really like going to the big packed bar down the street. They have awesome drinks at a great price. They also have a few pool tables which are in great shape.

It is a good spot for a game of pool and a cold beer.

Cool spot in Bermuda Dunes. Good for beers & sports. The onion rings are decent. Their ranch is horrible though. Ashely is awesome, haven’t really met the other bartenders but they seem cool. Their regulars are always nice, good people & good music. Definitely going to spend a lot of time here. Nice place to unwind after a long day at work.

If the old guy is tending bar (likely the owner) TURN AROUND. He overcharges for drinks and doesn’t even make them right… And doesn’t itemize the receipt to cover his a**.
Chris (the bartender) is an AWESOME bartender and all-​around good dude. When him and the gal are tending bar, this place is a nice hangout.
This would be an AWESOME Dive Bar if a few things changed:
1. Make the pool games free (the only reason to be there)
2. Get rid of the old prick

One of my favorite spots to have a couple drinks and relax with friends. Joel, Ashley, and Chris are really great and are a huge reason why I continue to return.

This place is amazing. Ashley, chris and Joel are the best people around. I choose to drink here because I feel like at home.

I don’t want to be to harsh but I was not impressed. It smelled pretty bad inside the bar (and old dirty dog kind of smell) waited at least 10 minutes at the bar for a beer and it was not busy, dead actually the whole time I waited for the beer I got harassed my what appeared to be the resident very creepy and dirty regular old men. The only way I think it may be ok is if you were coming to play pool with a group of people, I can’t see there being a wait for the tables. Unless it’s pool league night of course.

4 and a half stars I don’t think so! I can’t quite nail what the feeling is here… but its not my kind of place! I’ve been there more than once (only because I live right around the corner) and always leave with a bad taste in my mouth, I don’t know but the nasty food or the water down drinks. I don’t get a genuine feeling from this place so I choose to go elsewhere! Adiós mother flowers!

Best drinks around pours like I do at home!!! Great neighborhood bar.

Good friendly neighborhood bar. Everyone is friendly and Joel (the owner) takes good care of everyone. The prices are very reasonable.
