This place is utterly ridiculous, rude and a waste of time. Their customer service is terrible. You would think the customer service would be exceptional since your are paying top dollar for designer items but that is not the case at the Gardens mall. Avoid at all costs and just go to Nordstroms!

This seems like the only place to pick up Jo Malone fragrances perfumes from London. What can I say Saks is definitely not as crowded as other places both people and racks and they had all the different perfumes and Jo Malone candles I was looking for. Mission accomplished!

YOURCHILDRENWILLFEELASWELCOMEHEREASDONALDTRUMPAT A MEXICANPINANTAPARTY. I have loved Saks as a department store for years and have made many purchasing memories here. My husband bought his first Prada shoes here. I bought my first Jimmy Choos. Saks always stood apart because of its unparalleled customer service. If something didn’t fit right, they would hem it and make it fit like a custom garment. But today, nothing fit right – including the horrific salespeople. It is summer. I entered this store with my four children in tow, aged 5 through 10. Immediately I was glared at like some kind of convict(and this is a store that last year had a jewelry sales associate steal an octagenarian’s identity, buy watches under her name and resell them to a pawn shop). One of my children touched a dress and the salesperson went into a cardiac stupor. Mind you, if my hand had brushed that dress, they’d be pulling it out in my size. But the piece de resistance was when my kids took a couple steps up a downward moving escalator. I was right in front of them and told them to stop(I do not condone this kind of behavior), and thought that was the end. UNTIL a show woman named BARBARA began to scold my kids and myself. She is an elderly, cheruby, cropped-hair, expired nymph that just barely missed the cut off to star as an Umpa Lumpa. I was APPALLED at how RUDE she was. She was berating me and my children. Granted, the store was practically empty, but I was at a loss for words for a few minutes. My five year old looked scared. Her cohort, the mustached CHRIS, chimed in. I offered apologies, but Chris just went off in a facetious manner; «Yes, I’m sure they are great kids and that you are so proud of them.» That did it. I don’t need to be served a side of attitude with my full ticket retail. This place does not feel like a Saks; more like a penitentiary. Whether or not you have kids, I want you to know that these are the kind of people that Saks has chosen to staff their venerable Palm Beach Gardens outpost with. These are not the kind of people I would care to associate with in any circumstance. I will not spend one red cent at this store. I have never been humiliated – or mom-shamed– in this fashion … and that is NEVERINFASHION.

Unfortunately I think rudeness is a pervasive issue in this particular store. I guess when certain retail workers spend enough time in a high value store in a high value area they begin to believe they are better than the lowly customer.(Which is ridiculous on so many levels). I happened to purchase a suit from the Saks Outlet nearby because it was a great deal on a normally very pricey Zegna suit. I live in the Gardens area and decided to bring the suit to the Saks at the Gardens Mall for alterations. Since they sell this suit all the time surely, I thought, the tailor must have experience with this cut of suit and be able to help me out. The rudeness and attitude of me inconveniencing the rude suit salesman Richard, with bringing in a suit that was not«Saks Merchandise»(of which I was reminded no less than 10 times) was to me, an actual successful and professional sales person, in a word… inconceivable. Richard was snooty, arrogant(about what? I have no idea) and totally uninterested in being helpful. I held back initially on writing such a scathing review, thinking surely this guy had a tough life and was having a bad day. However, he was then rude to my wife when she went to pick up he suit! Hey Richard, it’s not a good idea to whisper with your co-workers when in front of a customer! This whole department clearly needs new leadership and training in the proper way to treat customers. I can assure you the $ 130 I spent on alterations(inflated for me because suit is not«Saks property») will be the last dollar I EVER spend at this store.

The manager of Saks in Palm Beach Gardens(woman with short black hair is the rudest retail worker I’ve ever encountered. She is condescending, uppity, apparently is intent on embarrassing customers, and desperately needs to be trained in customer service. It was shameful the way she and her cohort, a salesman in a bright jacket, treated a customer in front me in the purse section. The woman wanted to exchange a purse for a different color. The man called the manager over as is if it were a security issue, presumably because the purse costs thousands of dollars. Then, even though the woman was standing right in front of them, the manager asked in a low voice(as if no one would hear her) if it had been used and then actually picked up the purse and smelled it! From my view, the purse looked like it was brand new, still had the tissue on the handles and the tickets, so I could not determine why the manager and the man were so intent on make a big deal of the situation. The manager then demanded to know why it didn’t work and, as if she was doing a favor, told the man to process the exchange. The poor customer turned around and apologized to me! Unfortunately for the Saks Manager and her equally rude salesperson, they did not recognize their customer, but I did — the daughter of a billionaire. This just proves that because someone is shopping in shorts and sandals does not make them a fraudster or thief. That woman could have bought the whole store. Ms. Manager and your awful salesman, you both should reprimanded for poor skill and unjust prejudices.
