Kokopelli Farm Market

We’ve been stopping here on our way to and from our condo in Breckenridge every summer for several years. The first time we stopped was because the barn quilts on the side of their bright red packing shed caught our eye. (My cousin and her best friend are the founders of the Barn Quilts in Green County, Wisconsin) We’re always pleased with the mostly organic produce, fruit and jams/​jellies. We wind up taking at least a half dozen fried peach pies both ways. The people who work here are exceptionally nice and helpful. And the bathroom is always squeaky clean. My further suggestion is to buy one of the perforated ripening bowls. Not only are they attractive but they are very functional.

Fabulous people, wonderful organic fruit and vegetables. The very best peach pies (fried tarts) we ever had. Don’t miss a stop here. Stopped here For some of the largest and best peaches and left with some of the biggest and best vegetables (tomatoes, corn, cucumber)…YUM!

Pretty great place! Excellent selection of organic produce and local honey. We snagged some giant organic peaches while road tripping. This place is definitely worth the stop!

Great organic fruit stand at Exit 46 just off of I-​70. It is about 2 miles east of Palisades. It was late June and we wanted to buy fresh peaches, appricots and cherries but did not have the extra time to drive to the farms in Palisades so this fruit stand was incredibly convenient. The people were nice, the fruit is delicious, and they have a clean bathroom (important when you are driving a long way). The small jars of Colorado jam were pricey, $ 7/​jar, but boy are they good — I never tasted apricot jam that knocked my socks off like this Colorado Mtn. jam — yumm! Also bought a big bag of organic Anasazi beans. They sell soda and other snacks.
