Good patio… otherwise nothing to praise.
Came at four PM on a Tuesday and sat at a bar table. Took ages for the waitress to come give us menus and when she did she was followed by a CHILD! Excuse me, but when I go to a bar a 10 year kid is not part of the game plan. Frankly, I’m not sure that’s legal???
In any case we ordered fajitas and we got TWO tortillas with them. Not thinking one thing if it, we asked for a couple more and ended up being charged one dollar per tortilla!!! The waitress never mentioned that there was a charge or how much it would cost. I asked about the charge and the manager told me it was a new policy. The rest of our order was so– so at best and frankly, the money we were charged for the sad, greasy, crusty edged tortillas just came off the Mom waitresses tip

I wish I could give this shit hole zero star’s. Food was crappie my husband got a shrimp cocktail and it was frozen the service was the worst I’ve received here In Palatine

Food is good in my opinion. Try the gorditas. Service can be better though. Good veggie burrito. Price is average. Not cheap but not over the top.

Some of the best Mexican food in all of the Chicago area!
The steak, shredded chicken and pork are delicious and highly recommended.
Most of the time I’ve gotten the two taco plate or the burrito.
The quesadilla plate is humongous!
Super friendly staff, I stop by anytime work brings me up to this area.

Fast service. Food was good as well as the prices. The place is clean but nothing fancy in there.

But the service wasn’t really very friendly and that’s one thing i hate the most! Waitresses which can’t smile at least once and act like we as a costumer are actually a disturbance annoy me to death! So, i took one star off for that. The other star i couldn’t give is because of the environment. Not cozy or nice or pretty. Too bad…

My family has been going to this restaurant for years and have seen a drastic decline in the quality of their food. They lack in consistency. Our recent visit ensured it will be our last. Very disappointing.

Wasnt great at all. The sauce on the tamales was just tomato, no flavoring what so ever, and hardly had any filling. The chicken on the tostada was too dry.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Palatine area! I absolutely love their chicken enchiladas because the shredded chicken they use is very flavorful. Rice and beans are delicious as well and are not bland at all like some other places, Very tasty. I dine in or order carryout and its always fast service. Love this place and I will keep visiting almost monthly.

Good food. Wife enjoyed her margarita. Kids crushed their quesadillas. I’ll be honest we came here because Mexico uno was closed but not disappointed.

The prices may be cheap, but the food is spectacular. I always get the same thing, the football-​sized chicken burrito dinner, and it fills me up more, tastes better than, and costs less than Chipotle.
The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Also, the hot sauces they give you are amazing. It really is a great Mexican restaurant.

Delicious steak tacos, delicious rice, delicious salsa, all perfectly paired with a delicious lime jarrito. Don’t go anywhere else!

Great authentic Mexican food. The Tacos are the way they’re meant to be: soft corn tortilla, meat, onion, and cilantro. That’s it. Oh and depending upon the meat you choose, they cost between $ 1.69 and $ 2 each, hard to beat. The inside is clean with basic Formica top tables, which adds to the real Mexican atmosphere. This is my go to Mexican restaurant.

I eat here one a week. Super fast, super cheap, and super tasty. I’m a total fan!

Not too many places to get real Mexican food around here — I live just a few miles away. Great taco joint, decent prices, exactly what I expect from a place like this.

Food sucks no flavor what so ever but the service is good and fast I would try another mexican restaurant try Javiers between dunton and miner in arlington hts:-)

Good food, mammoth portions, a homey atmosphere and good service. If you’re looking for a place for a tasty lunch or dinner give this place a try.

The food is okay here, not much different from other local Mexican restaurants. The food is definitely cheap and relatively consistent. Large portions and fast service.

I know I’ve reviewed this spot before, however there must be multiple listings. Anyhow, the persons in previous reviews who are saying the food here is decent or not bad are smoking crack. Their combo plates are muy delicioso (I learned that from watching Dora)!
