Wow, super experience, cake tastes AMAZING!!! Custom made, unique, gorgeous! Huge hit at our party!

I live out of town, but wanted to get my dad some freshly homemade chocolate chip cookies. I chose Sweet C’s bakery from good reviews, and I’m so glad I did! Not only did they whip up some fabulous homemade chocolate chip cookies, they also delivered them to my dad on his birthday on a beautiful platter! They had amazing customer service and my dad raves about how delicious the cookies were! He didn’t save me any to try :(! I would highly recommend supporting this lovely bakery!

We ordered our daughter’s birthday cake through Celia. She has reasonable prices and is so easy to work with. The cake was beautiful and delicious! A big hit!

I stopped by at Sweet C’s Bakery on Sunday, February, 21^st (it was their 1 year anniversary!!!) and was pleasantly surprised with a variety of products! Brownies looked so good, so I ended up buying some and didn’t regret it. They were AMAZING! Also I’ve got to try some cupcake that they were giving away for free that day. How nice!
I highly recommend this place to everyone! If you are not a big fan of sweets you will definitely become one after visiting Sweet C’s bakery

I’m so glad to see a bakery in Palatine! I went to Sweet C’s to pick out a dessert to bring to a gathering. I purchased brownies and vanilla cake pops. They were delectable! The owner, Celia, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to upcoming birthdays and graduations so I can order a cake from Sweet C’s.

This was my first time to Sweet C bakery. I was amazed by their service. My husband and I went there for our gender reveal cake, my ultra sound was on a Thursday and the cake was scheduled for pick up the next day evening. After the ultra sound we were dying to know the gender! we knew we wouldn’t be able to sleep that night!!! so I called Sweet C’s that evening and asked them if they could some how get the cake done for tonight?! it was 6 PM and they close at 7 PM. My husband rushed there by 6:10 PM and they were able to get the cake ready by 7 PM. Wowww what a service I greatly appreciate them. Oh the cake was mind blowing the best vanilla buttercream cake we’ve ever had. I love this place :) Thanks Sweet C’s.

From beginning to end my experience with this quaint little shop has nothing short of wonderful. We contacted Celia to come in for a cake tasting for our wedding cake. She prepared cupcakes in 4 flavors for us to try. We settled on almond. We gave her some ideas through photos of what we were looking for. Our wedding day came and the cake was absolutely perfect. All of our guests commented on how good the cake tasted as well. Sweet C’s did such a wonderful job. I highly recommend going with this bakery.

I wanted to give this bakery a try because I saw all of the good reviews on Unilocal.I am so glad that I did! I showed Celia a picture of the cake I was wanting for my graduation. The cake turned out to be super cute and was super yummy! If you want great cake and pastries, try this place! :)

I stopped by on a sunny Sunday afternoon after searching Unilocal for bakeries in the area since I planned to visit a nearby local coffeehouse. Thank you to my Unilocal friend Sherwin C. for his lovely review & photos since they motivated me to check out Sweet C’s. And I’m glad I did because I’ve discovered a lovely local spot for cookies!
The shop is somewhat small and tucked between two others on Bothwell Street across from the train tracks. The owner greeted me as soon as I walked in. She apologized for the limited selection. I told her not to worry about it, since I saw plenty of viable options. She asked me if I was looking for a gift for someone. Ha ha! That someone is my sweet loving self! ;-p
I asked her what she would recommend. She suggested the peanut butter kiss cookies, oatmeal cherry cookies and the brownie. As of late, I haven’t been into super rich chocolaty treats so I mentally crossed the brownie off that list. My eyes immediately gravitated toward the toffee shortbread. I asked her how she felt about that one. She said it’s good, but she much prefers rich and chocolaty items, hence her suggestion of the brownie.
She offered me a freshly baked toffee shortbread that just came out of the oven. And, I was instantly sold. I loved the buttery shortbread mixed with generous pieces of toffee. I shared the cookie (yes, shocking, I know) with my fiancé and he enjoyed it as well.
I ended up buying two packages of cookies — the toffee shortbread cookies and the oatmeal cherry. The oatmeal cherry tasted great as well. I liked the texture — soft with a bit of chew and crisp. Again, like with the shortbread, you get a generous amount of cherries in your cookies.
Total with tax for 12 cookies was $ 9.69, which isn’t bad at all, saying that they are locally made. The owner gave me her card in case I was interested in having her bake some goodies for a special occasion. She also mentioned that Sweet C’s is at local farmers markets too, so I made a note to check that out.
Overall, I am impressed with these cookies and cannot wait to sample more of their offerings. Next time you’re craving some cookies, check out Sweet C’s Bakery. Your taste buds won’t regret it.

I seriously was in a cookie coma. Sweet C’s you definitely earned my return tastebuds visit.

Sweet C’s is a small gourmet bakery tucked away in Palatine downtown. It’s not the biggest nor most appealing shop but it does excel at the most important thing: food. While there may not be a huge selection of items available, each item is presented and prepared well with high quality ingredients. The items themselves aren’t category defining but you can easily tell that the recipes tune the flavors in a way where the items aren’t too sweet nor too rich and there is a bit of a premium feel to both the taste and texture. Definitely give the cupcakes and chocolate items here a try.

Just want to update you on the chocolate cupcake. I called excellent but that is just wrong. It should be moved up to the sinful category. Every bit made you feel like guilty indulgence. Nothing should taste this good. For a chocolatehollic, this is your drug of choice.

Delicious cake, decorated to order! Cookies are works of art. The toffee shortbread cookies are to die for. Melt in your mouth goodness! Great local bakery with home baked goodness in every bite!

I’ve had two birthday cakes from this bakery so far and both have been beautiful and delicious! The cookies and brownies are out of this world too! You must check this place out now!

Two-​tme customer here, after devouring the oatmeal cherry cookies, I had to comeback and try a new item! The dreamsicles are spectacular! Would recommend to friends!

I visited during their grand opening and sampled a variety of cupcakes, bars and cookies. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! It was difficult to pick my favorites but they are…
–The brownie will definitely satisfy your chocolate fix if your a chocoholic like me. –The toffee cookie is so buttery and perfect. –The lemon cupcake with blackberry frosting is so unique that it was a flavorful explosion in my mouth. When I saw there was only one cupcake left on display I had to take it!
The pecan bars, lemon bars, oatmeal cherry cookie and snicker doodle cookies were favorites of my family and friends. All in all, you will find something that you will love. It’s a great addition to downtown Palatine, hopefully you check it.

Place is solid. I sampled everything and it was all good. Who would of thought Orange dreamsicle cookies would taste so good. Pecan Pie Bars a winner. This place is sweet! Can’t wait to buy a cake.

Oh my… Luscious Lemon Bars, Red Velvet Cupcakes to die for. They put out wonderful bites to sample their goodies and every one was incredible. All natural ingredients, you can taste the difference! I discovered them today when I picked up my Noonday Bread orders, but I will be coming back to order their baked goods. My son has already requested their Red Velvet for his cake.
