Mark William Salon & Day Spa

My hair looks and feels amazing! I hadn’t been to a hair salon in over a year; my hair was really really looking awful. So I bought a Groupon for a random hair salon and it was the best groupon I’ve bought. Mark made me look and feel beautiful again. I will definitely be back.

This was my first time at Mark William Salon and Day Spa and I got a Groupon as a gift for my birthday and I had a haircut and style, deep conditioning and full highlights. I have used Groupon’s before and very pleased of how my hair turned out but never found a salon that I wanted to keep on going to. From when I walked in the door everyone was friendly saying hello and asked how I was doing and from then on I had a feeling this would be my salon. Jamie was my hair stylist and I liked that she asked for my input before cutting my hair and showing me how much she was actually cutting off. When I walked in, I only wanted about 3 inches cut off but as she showed me where 3 inches was I decided to go for 6 inches. Jamie was amazing and so friendly I love my hair cut and side bangs that everyday I have been getting compliments of how my hair looks, that just shows that Jamie did amazing and I have definitely found my salon that I will be going to from now on! :)

Jamie was the one who cut my hair. I like that she ask for your input before initializing the actual cutting. She’s perfectionist as I observe on how she do things. I’m coming back for sure.
What I don’t like is when the original appointment that the receptionist gave me was change. Maybe because I’m using groupon?

Have been there many times received awesome hair cuts. Employees are all very friendly.

I used a groupon deal at this place for haircut, deep conditioning, highlights, and blowdry. My sylist was an older lady. I was very skeptical because she didn’t seem to be pay attention when I was telling her what kind of cut i wanted. I told her it was my first time coloring my hair and kept asking about the process. She barely spent anytime explaining things to me. The girl that washed my hair did not introduce her self, just yanked my hair and started shampooing. The stylist was very rough when combing my hair, just tugging and pulling. She would give one word answers. Finally she explained the highlighting process. We spent almost 3 hours together and didn’t have any conversations. At the end she said it was a pleasure to get to know me. What?! She doesn’t know anything about me. Overall, my hair turned out nice. I like the cut and the highlights but the experience was not pleasant. And I had to be extra $ 20 for long hair (which I didn’t understand b/​c most of it was chopped off before being highlighted). For that price I should have just gone to Ulta, they people are friendly. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back here.

It’s a nice place… clean and friendly staff. My sister worked there for 4 – 5 years and loved it. So, I’d recommend it!
