Ribs were good(sauce was a little sweet for my taste), but my husband thought the brisket was some of the best he’d ever had. The sides were amazing! We had the hush puppies, sweet potato fries and fried green beans. The fried green beans were delicious. And the owner was super friendly and nice. A great find in the desert.

We shared the sampler plate. The ribs were good as was the pulled pork. The ice cream was heavy on sugar and not on fat, it was almost corn syrupy. Stick to the meat and skip the dessert.

We didn’t really enjoy our visit here. The food was okay, but the real problem is the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the place. There is no «inside» to the restaurant. All of seating is either in a covered canvas portion or open air. The lone bathroom is around the back of the kitchen building(you walk around the back of the building) and was disgusting. The tiny bathroom also doubles as their mop and cleanup room. The sink drained into a bucket, and there was no soap to top it all off. The meat smoking area is located in the rear alley and doesn’t inspire confidence. The tables and benches in the seating area were sticky with beer/BBQ sauce. One of the managers there yelled pretty harshly at a waitress right in front of everyone, then proceeded to flirt with another waitress for the remainder of the night. We won’t be coming back.

So so… Had the wings, was told they are the best in town. I sure hope not, they were just so so. Just not a lot of flavor to them. Bathroom… Wow watch out, go some where else to go to the bathroom.

Ordered the brisket sliders and all I got was chunks of fat. Waited 40 minutes for our food. The waitresses were really nice, but it was honestly the worst meal! Save yourself and go somewhere else!!!

The steak is OK, but the salmon is terrible… We arrive there at 8:00pm. They have many available tables, but just let us wait outside for 20 minutes. We figured that the waitress may want to rush back home, so we decide to take our food out to do their a favor. Finally, after additional half an hour, we got our food…

We loved the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. Really fresh bun, lots of meat, sauce was just right. Cole slaw side was terrific. Service was friendly. What’s not to love? Lemonade was from the pop machine and seating is outdoors on a patio, which was kind of warm on this 100 degree day.

Excellent service and good bbq! They also have happy hour from 4−7pm, half off alcoholic beverages and appetizers! Ribs were good, a full rack fed 2 of us, meat fell right off the bone. All entrees come with your choice of 2 sides and a soup or salad so you get a lot of bang for your buck. Hot wings were. HOT! Our dishes also came with complimentary cornbread freshly made everyday from the owner’s mother.

Is it weird that I wished I lived near Page just so that I could be the Unilocal Duchess(aka #1 fan) of this phenomenal, heavenly BBQ sanctuary forever? Rolled in around 11am, had a little trouble finding the spot since they’ve relocated from a shoebox to a larger, airy location on the other side of North Navajo. We didn’t let this deter us, and it shouldn’t deter you. Three u-turns never hurt nobody. Rad dining furniture(black benches, glossy rustic wood tables that Cali folks love), half under a covered patio, unlit lights strewn across the pole — this would be a wicked venue for my dirty thirty party at the end of 2013!!! — if I lived in Page, that is. Sigh. With the enthusiastic and much appreciated help of the owner, DC, we settled on pulled pork and smothered chicken with marsala sauce. Absolute DIVINITY– hot damn! In fact, so much divinity everywhere we came back the next day and ordered the fried catfish(pulled pork takeout because as a serious foodie, I know when I got something good and I just can’t let it go). The BBQ sauce is competively delicious — this stuff is mean good. The Marsala sauce is creamy and flavorful, but almost somehow managed to get outshined by the magical chicken itself — sinfully juicy, love me tender — in fact, I could easily cut through the breast with a fork. The catfish was exactly how I wanted it; flavorful batter that had a nice Newcastle hinted crunch, the fish plump and succulent, perfectly cooked. Out of all the sides, our favorite was the house made baked beans. They rocked our worlds — sweet bacon-y love. We ordered it with every meal. For a real treat, come after 4 to try their baked sweet and reg potatoes. We unfortunately didn’t have that pleasure, however I might’ve meandered to the back of the building, engaged DC’s dad in some conversation. That man has got serious BBQ swag. I got to see the inside of the smoker where those little gems of potatoes were bathing in lustrous smoke. Please try ‘em so I may live vicariously through you. Amazing barbecue, cozy and casual atmosphere — but perhaps best of all was how much passion DC has for his backyard BBQ. He is incredibly down to earth, and when his waitress was busy he sat people down, thanked them for coming, and made sure everyone was comfortable. This is the kind of guy you want to see succeed in the restaurant business. So, DC, please please please open a BBQ out in the Bay Area; we’ll invite Too $hort to the grand opening!

Outdoor seating w/blues playing on speakers in the background. Number of folks drinking a beer and eating some grub. Staff friendly. Onion rings were the star of the show. BBQ pit out back.

We 3 ladies came rolling into this not-so-fine establishment after a 3 hour drive from Flagstaff, AZ. Too bad there aren’t too many Unilocalers in this part of town… would’ve greatly helped us avoid it LOL We walked in and it’s a TINY place, only 6 tables that seat any where from 4 – 6 ppl each. Everything on the menu seemed a bit over price for the stature of this place… so, it being Sunday, we opted for the Saturday special, thinking that pulled pork or beef brisket that they offered wouldnt be yesterday’s food… bc after all, it is a BBQ place, that’s some thing they should be making like clock work, right? .Guess not, the Saturday special was a drink, pulled pork or beef brisket sandwich with bbq sauce, and a side of fries for under $ 10. Trust me, that was a deal compared to what’s on the regular menu. I, in addition to the Saturday special, ordered a side of Zucchini fries bc I love them and my 2 GFs had never had before! I was telling the young man behind the counter that I was ordering that in ADDITION to my regular Saturday special, I made sure he understood the words coming from my mouth… guess not. All our food came, and instead of presenting a basket with potato fries and my sandwich, I had zucchini fries and NO fries… er? I told him, and FINALLY, he got my jist, gave me my fries, and I thought peace was restored. I realized that other than ketchup, the zucchini fries didn’t come with ranch dressing… Is it just me or is it only the several places that I’ve frequented in Cali that serve Z fries with ranch dressing. when I asked him, he thought I was nuts. but said he’d give it to me for free but it’s usually a charge. wth. Oh well, still free. The food: the meat(we all got the beef brisket) was way TOO salty. so must’ve been not made fresh. Two of us finished our food bc we were that hungry. the third one couldn’t finish it for the life of her although she, too, was quite famished. Later on that night, she told us that she had a battle with the toilet… and it wasn’t pretty. She swears it’s bc of the meat! lol poor thing. Overall, I don’t have to think about coming back here bc I’ll probably never go to Arizona again. haha Well, not that part anyway. See ya never, DC! Sorry!

Very small place that probably mostly does take out, but their pulled pork sandwiches and hushpuppies(deep fried savory cornbread) is second to none. Really awesome. Reasonable, friendly, casual(which is great if u are dusty from a day outside), and has parking(limited). BF got the cornbread which were like muffins. They were ok, but not as good as the hushpuppies

This is a small restaurant that is easy to miss, but the food was amazing. The restaurant is small, and upon entering, you at first may thing it is a fast food style place. The menu is on a blackboard, and you order at the counter. You then take a seat on a picnic style table. The food is brought to your table. My soda glass was kept full throughout the meal. The ribs were fantastic, meaty, not fatty, and the meat fell off the bone. There were other choices, including burgers, pulled pork, and more. My wife and I split a full rack of ribs. It cost about $ 22 in total. The restaurant owner served us, and split the ribs on separate plates, even gave an extra corn muffin. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant with an extensive menu and white glove service, this may not be the place for you. But if you want great food at a reasonable price from a small, family run restaurant, you will have a great dinner. If I was in Page for more nights, I would have eaten here each night. I should note that the sign on the restaurant is poor, and we drove right by it. It is across the street from a shopping center. The owner told me he will be moving to a larger place in a few months.

We are vacationing at Lake Powell and found DC’s on Unilocal and decided to eat there for dinner. We are so glad we chose it! We had the pulled pork, ribs, brisket, coleslaw, French fries, potato salad, sweet potato fries, and corn bread. It was the best BBQ we have ever had. DC was so welcoming and kind. The service was great! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lake Powell or anywhere around. Food Networks, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives… We think so!!!

This was decent for the location, as we couldnt find too many food options in the town. The server was friendly, and checked up on us often. I wish they had more options for sides, but the frid okra was fun. In terms of portions, they were decent for the price.

I had high hopes of finding some tasty BBQ after reading Unilocal reviews but ended up disappointed. I’ll start with the positives — Great service — friendly & attentive, 5 stars Delicious hushpuppies & sweet potato fries Now the not so good — Pulled pork was tender, but bland and too wet(bun was soaked). BBQ sauce was also a bit bland. Many of the reviewers raved about the ribs so maybe they’re the way to go. Coleslaw was homemade(a plus) but included canned pineapple and tasted too much like pineapple for me. I thought prices were a little high but perhaps they’re reasonable for touristy Page. All meals include a large drink. I tend to avoid caffeinated & sugary drinks so I ended up paying for something I didn’t want. I liked the décor, atmosphere, and friendly staff at DCs. And I really wanted to like the food too, but just didn’t live up to the rave reviews.
