This place is something special, I love the history tour the owners give when you 1st walk in. However, I really like the free samples at the end of the tour. MRS STORY was a super host and allow you to see and smell & taste the fresh flavored «SHINE «. Try the apple shine, its no taste of shine at all, I made this pork chops dish a few weeks ago and it was awesome! I also like the lemonade shine (becareful it’s not lemonade you’re knocking back) it’s that good I always buy a few or 2 or 3 jars for gifts to clients. Is always happy hour at that place… smile!

Nice staff, cool items throughout the building, and tasty moonshine– they were all good but my favorites were the strawberry lemonade, peach, and apple pie– they are 60 proof & delicious!
The tastings are free and if you don’t try them all and buy at least a few, you are a damn fool! They wrap your purchases in a burlap sack which I thought was fun!

This place is fun. The young gentleman educated me about moonshine
I tried a few samples. The lemonade is the best. First you taste the alcohol, smooth. The finish taste like lemonade. I could drink a glass and wonder later about the day.

Stopped here while visiting family and really enjoyed both their museum of moonshine and the moonshine we were able to sample here. Went home with some lemonade moonshine (for a gift) and white corn & rye moonshine for myself both ensuring my checked bag got searched. However they both made it home whole.
The crew present when we stopped could not have been friendlier nor more helpful. Wished we’d had more time to hang here but we enjoyed the moonshine!

Was visiting a good friend in the area. She pulled out a bottle of Old Paducah peach flavored grain spirit. 80 proof, smooth, delicious is an understatement. lets just say we drank it all and i wanted more. Located on Jefferson in an old historic building this place is a must see… free samples also. cant beat that. My intention was to replace the bottle i had drank with my friend but after sampling the apple pie and lemonade i purchased those instead. Gives me a reason to go back before i leave! Great place, Great product and very friendly staff.
