Yes, it is true… everything you’ve heard. It’s all true.
There’s no staff.
No one wants to help you at the ice cream counter. «Thrifty» ice cream is a childhood treat that you just crave sometimes and it sucks that you can’t even get it sometimes because the flavors are rarely re-​stocked and the service station is not taken care of at all.
The place is generally a mess as a whole.
The pharmacy has pretty crappy service.
The only reason to even come to this location is to buy cheap wine.

I understand that the pharmacy gets busy but they have absolutely horrible customer service, I’ve been getting the same thing refilled at this location for about three years, is it really necessary for me to call the pharmacy as told by someone working there 3 days before I run out of my birthcontrol when they see that it’s supposed to be refilled until fall next year, I’ve never heard that before, not to mention their lovely attitude in answering their phones, I had pressed the option to talk to a pharmacist three times.

Worst pharmacy ever. Customer service is horrible. Why should I have to come back three times for one prescription. This is after I tried the online refill service. The online refill that never contacted the rite aid about my prescription. So I go in to take care of the situation. They tell me both my prescriptions were new (untrue) but whatever I’ll wait. I waited 45 min for them to tell me come back the next day. Ok. The next day they still haven’t processed my stuff. They tell me sorry. It’ll be ready tomorrow after 3. Ok. The third day I show up they tell my items are there but I can’t get them until the pharmacist comes in… In two hours. REALLY!!! Fed up. I swear I could scream. The way im feeing I swear someone Almost got stabbed.

Went in on a Friday evening waited by the ice cream section for about 6 mins until k went over to the cashier and informed her I’m waiting for someone to come help us she said she would call someone over so she them yells over for some other cashier to go over. We then waited another 5 mins for him to assist us and his face could say it all you could tell he hated his job and he didn’t wanna be there for sure the last time I go to this rite aid. Dirty and bad customer service

Pharmacy: the worst I’ve ever been to. It literally took them more than 40 minutes to tell me that my insurance did not cover my medication, all the while being extremely rude and condescending. Im never going back. (Ps. I had to go somewhere else to find out that my insurance does cover the medication)

Let’s be honest, it’s Pacoima. This Rite Aid could do with some remodeling. The ice cream looks old as fuck. I only come here for cosmetics. If I’m looking for a specific color that is sold out at other drug stores, most likely I will find it here. However, the ghetto clientele will most likely have swatched the shit out of the makeup. Gross. Anyhoo…
There is usually one cashier. Long lines. Anytime you have a question (despite how simplistic or complex), the cashier will ALWAYS call the manager over. *rolls eyes*. Anyhoo… happy shopping
