Skin Reflections

Penny was great! It was my first facial in a really long time. Since I had a baby I have been dealing with Seborrheic Dermatitis around my nose and anything and everything will make it flare up. I was really worried about the facial making it worse, but it didn’t! It actually looked a little better the next day! YAY! Also, Penny’s extractions didn’t hurt at all. I have had them done before where I just about cried. Thanks Penny! :-)

I saw Penny for a series of acne facials and have to say if you have acne, go see her immediately. Other aestheticians I’ve been to do not really understand acne skin, and how it feels to have this issue. She knows what to do. Her treatments benefited my skin immensely. The mini is a good deal, but treat yourself to the full if you can– just to have some good massage time after those extractions.

Needed a new skin and waxing lady since my wonderful gal retired! How can you retire from making skin so lovely I ask? But alas, I needed a new person — and fast.
Penny was able to take me with a same day appointment for a waxing-​This was not torture at all. No redness post wax, clean lines. Consistant. I have already been back for more waxing. Awesome!
Also important to note, no wax temperature fluctuation issues. Sometimes that goo can be scalding, other times too cold to be effective.
So i booked myself a facial since I really missed the European facial my now-​retired person gave. How can this be??? It was the BEST facial I have ever had. I am completely in awe– it was super luxurious, and I wished it were longer. Who doesn’t like to get spoiled for the max amount of time possible?
Penny is great unclogging pores without making you cry. And no need to whip out the putty knife to spackle heavy foundation on your face post facial. Somehow her products and facial massage have left a lasting impression as well since it’s now Tuesday (facial was Saturday) and my skin is STILL soft and has not exploded in breakouts.
This is where my inner Texan comes out here, with a much deserved «YEEHAW!»

Penny is the most amazing person. She is so sweet and so accommodating with your time. She makes you feel comfortable and is quick. She uses the latest products and offers a wide variety of services. I have gone to her for at least the last 5 year for a brazilian wax and she does an amazing job. Her prices are extremely reasonable (cheaper than SF) and she is the sweetest person you will meet. She also does a great job on eyebrow waxing. You will not be disappointed.

I used to go to a salon in West Portal to get my waxing done, then I discovered Skin Reflections. Why stress over finding parking in time to make your appointment, when you can just hop over hwy 1 to Pacifica, enjoy the beautiful ocean views on the way, park for free and pay less for your wax? Penny, the owner is very sweet too. She becomes this great girlfriend that you look forward to catching up with!
