I’m surprised by the negative reviews! We ate during a busy Saturday night. the service was good, the pizza came out pretty quick and it was delicious! They make the perfect veggie pizza.

The pizza in this place it’s mediocre, their veggies options are fresh and so are the rest of the ingredients they offer, they a desperately need to update their dough and sauce, I don’t think they understand the combination of spices for the sauce, they either put way too much oregano or other strong tasting spice overwhelming the taste of the whole thing, when pizza ingredients don’t match harmoniously it looses the concept of being pizza. As far as other options on their menu goes, they should most definitely just stick to pizza…

Insanely slow slow slow. Rough crowd from the trailer park. Four employees manning a two belt single pizza oven over kill. Gambling and beer by the pitcher. Food is not mind blowing and the beer is ok. If you need to eat this is a last resort for a dead town after six.

My mouth is literally watering right now as I begin to write this review. I don’t eat pizza very often, but I find myself craving Doryland Pizza! It’s probably a good thing that this place is hours away or else I’d be eating pizza all the time. I wasn’t even expecting much when I came here, I just wanted food (not brewery food across the street) and a place to watch the football game. My boyfriend and I shared a 13 inch Doryland Deluxe and a beer sampler, which ended up being the perfect amount of food for us. They don’t have a big selection of beer on tap, but can’t go wrong with a $ 5 sampler. I saw some other reviews that said the service was bad here, but when we came there was only one other party in the place so it wasn’t busy. The two guys working at the time were really nice!
I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I will be back for sure, hopefully soon!

We got a family size and it was hugeeeee.

I was in pacific city a couple of weeks ago and one place that I so happened to stop at was doryland pizza place. I loved the look and feel of the place, and the young man who made my pizza was very kind and helpful. But I did notice the lack of staffing and how hard the few workers who were working, just didn’t have the help that could be needed. Since there were such little staff, the pizza wait was longer than any place I’ve been to. Im a bit of a people watcher because of my past in business and noticed one of the older ladies with dark hair who was working took a lot of smoke breaks, and just wasn’t really working. She wondered quite a bit and I saw her coming out of the lottery room, and when helping me her breathe smelt a bit of stale alcohol or beer. Besides that older lady, the pizza was delicious and I will be recommending the place to some of my girlfriends who are going to be coming to pacific city this summer.
