Fernando Fernandez (IntheKutts)(look at his instagram pictures. He does a wonderful job cutting curly hair and will save you money/​time! He cuts hair but does not style it unless you ask. He’s amazing!

I’ve been coming here for a few years now. I have been seeing Reina for my hair. Last time I was here she did a bright pink ombré. I loved it!

I purchased a full foil/​hair cut Groupon for services by Reina. I knew my hair was going to turn out great when Reina took the time to ask very specific questions about what I wanted. It’s hard to find a colorist who will indulge my wish for ashy hair. She also managed to lift my hair to the perfect #9 without the use of the heater.
Its taken almost 2 years but I finally found a someone to do my highlights on this side of the Bay.

I’ve been going to Fernando for about a year now, and he’s the only one I trust with my hair since it’s curly. My hair was so damaged and lost its definition, but after visiting him he’s brought my curls back to life. Not only does he do an amazing job, but he’s very professional and friendly

This review is way overdue. My hairdo was done by Maricela and she did a fantastic job! I showed her a picture of what i want and she got it. She was really friendly and i didn’t notice the time that it took her to do my hair. The occasion was my civil wedding ceremony so i was really happy that Maricela made me look like a princess. I have been a client of ELIZABETH’s since she opened her shop in Pacheco, some 8+ years ago. She is my Mistress of Color and I have sent many people to her over the years. Elizabeth is excellent at any hair style cut, color you want and her blow-​outs are FABULOUS. If you want a Brazilian Blow-​out, ELIZABETH is your girl. I have seen her do many wedding parties and prom up-do’s over the years and they are exquisite.
I would highly recommend her to anyone (women, men, children)! She has 2 locations now, 1– Pacheco and another in Lafayette called Ely’s Hair.

You will not be disappointed, not only did my hair cut and color came out amazing, done by Fernando.
The crew here are absolutely great people, you feel the warmth when you walk in, their work is great! Fernando was very knowledgeable with all the tones, colors the type of hair cut I requested. I felt at ease through the whole process.

Was looking for a new Hair stylst close to home and found positive reviews on Unilocal for Fernando. Sounded like he knew how to cut unruly curly hair. If curly hair isn’t cut correctly it won’t curl or hang properly. I’m always scared for someone new to cut my hair, but knew I needed to make a change, so I made the appointment and I’m happy with the results. Thanks Fernando!

Look no further fellow curly girls! I had my curly hair cut by Fernando.
Fernando asked me what I wanted, listened to my concerns, and did his best to deliver for me. He asked me if I liked volume or not so he could take that into consideration. Then he gave me nice well blended layers. When he was done with that he asked me if I wanted him to do some star thing To my hair that would add volume and specifically showed me where that layer would start. I liked that he didn’t just do what he thought was best but followed what I wanted.
Plus The price was excellent considering the quality. I will definitely be going back!
Also, Fernando was kind and great to talk to, no awkwardness. I felt super at ease with him !
EDIT: It has been a few weeks since I went to Fernando for my hair cut and now that my cut has really settled in, I had to come back and rave about Fernando even more. I have found my go to stylist!
My curly hair has maintained its length even though he removed damage!

It was my first time here and I loved the service! Mary was an excellent conversationalist and kept a pleasant conversation with me. She was very accommodating as well and kept letting me know when she was going to cut more off from my bangs and rest of my hair. I walked in with no picture of what I wanted except for the knowledge that I wanted my hair to look softly curved and not too long… haha kind of vague and specific all at once! But she said she’d do one cut first and if I wanted to change it that she would cut more. So being a bit picky with my hair and having had other hairdressers get too scissor happy with my bangs, I was wary and cautious and a little nervous, but I felt the moment I saw Mary that I was in good hands. After the first run she showed me what she had done and she made modifications until I liked how it looked :) She also offered to curl my hair for me if I wanted, since I had never fully curled my super straight mane before! I love it and my hair looks like one of those princess hairs in the Disney movies… like Belle, I should say, but black.
I also found out they do wax here as well… so why not! She did everything for a great price. I love my princess hair, and it looks so healthy and full which is what I was going for. I definitely walked away a very happy customer :) Thank you Mary, best wishes to you and your lovely family!

Thank You sooooo much Fernando for cutting my princess hair. I loved it and she definitely loves it too! He was recommended from a girl I follow on Instagram. In the past year, i have been looking for someone to cut my daughters hair since she has mixed hair (half black, half Latina) he layered it and got rid of all the damaged ends. He did an awesome job. He definitely knows how to get down with curly hair and I will be going back to him.

I love Reina! She’s been doing my hair here for a while and even after moving an hour away I will continue to come and see her.

A friend had gotten highlights and I loved them! I asked where she had her hair done and she shared Reina here at Elizabeth’s Hair Design! I was looking for somewhere to go closer to home. I previously was a client at a salon in SF and then followed my stylist & colorist to Burlingame.
Reina has done my hair twice and I LOVE IT! She has a great attention to detail and is very good at both color and cut! She is also a great conversationalist so my appointment feels like it flies by!

This review is for FERNANDO. I found him after a recommendation on Instagram. I am a Latina with curly hair and I have trouble trusting hair stylists with it. I’ve usually gotten the deva cut before where they cut the hair dry, but Fernando does it wet and did a good job! I told him what I wanted and he was able to create layers and bangs that left me with a great shape! I also got illusion or partial highlights and I’ve gotten many compliments on the color. His rates are very affordable and I look forward to getting my hair trimmed with him again.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years almost now. Elizabeth is so great at what she does. She’s passionate about her business and always spends time with her clients understanding exactly what they want. Elizabeth is easy to talk to and has a cute sense of humor too. You can’t go wrong with the prices either! I got my hair cut Thursday for $ 15 dollars. I’ve never been unsatisfied. I just moved and will be a 20 – 30 minute drive instead of a 5 minute drive but I’m definitely going to keep coming to her! I’ve also come in and had my hair done by other stylists & they also do a great job. I’m still not a pro at curling my hair all fancy for a wedding etc so I come here & they always make me feel pretty after & do such a thorough job.
It’s convenient too because Los Panchos is next door which is delicious!
If you’re debating whether to try Elizabeth Hair Design, don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed!
