I ordered a large cheese pizza. They said 20 minutes I drove from Bayville made it there in 9 minutes. Picked up the pizza. It was ready in 9 minutes? A new world record! When I got home I knew why it was ready, it was warm and burned! Somebody ordered it and never came for it or was late to pick it up! Solution give it to the guy that was early! This is the second time. It took me 2 years to give you another try. NEVERAGAIN!!! If someone from Brooklyn opened a Pizza parlor in OysterBay they would all go out of business ! Nino’s dirty, Saggi’os roaches, Riros WTF, La Sella II terrible, 1 Burnt cold pizza $ 14.00?Get together and go to Forest Pizza in Glen Cove and learn from those guys how to cook. They are the best! 1 large cheese pizza 12 garlic knots $ 15.00.I only asked for 6 they threw in 6 for free!

This is my favorite Italian for take out, their eggplant rollitini is so good, and so is all of their sauces. I don’t order from any one where else anymore. They deliver and they are friendly and courteous. They always provide excellent food so far.

I have given La Stella an ample amount of time to prove themselves, and I am now at the point where I can officially say, «this place sucks». I have never ordered plain slices from La Stella — always a fresh pie or hero sandwich. My friend and I were initially lured in by the $ 8.95 large pie special. A fresh and tasty $ 8.95 pie is too good to be true and we were stupid for falling for such a ploy. It’s $ 8.95 because the crust is about as half as thin as you would like it to be. The sauce is also thin and boring, while the cheese is scantily distributed across the saltine-like crust. Let it be known that they will also price gouge you for other items to make up for the $ 8.95 special. For example, we wanted a chicken parm hero on garlic bread. «OK we can do that, $ 2 dollars extra for the garlic.» 2 dollars to rub a clove of garlic and some butter on my bread? Shut up with that noise. The sandwich is something like 9 dollars to begin with to make up for their cheap pizza, and it’s a terrible sandwich. Allow me to elaborate. The chicken parm hero from here tastes like a processed chicken finger cut up and distributed across the sandwich. Whoever is making the food can’t even be bothered to bread and fry their own chicken! That should tell you enough. With the 3:1 ratio of pizzerias to humans on Long Island, I am not sure how this dump scrapes by.

The pizza was OK. The meat cinnamon roll on the other hand was amazing. If you are in oyster bay you must try it.

While out and about near Oyster Bay we wanted to grab a quick bite but were unfamiliar with the area. We happened upon La Strella a small pizza place in town and were pleasantly surprised by the food. The Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad was crisp and fresh and the Eggplant Rollatini with a side of Linguini was absolutely delicious. Afterwards, we split a cannoli for dessert to top off the meal. If you live in the area, I’m sure you’ve enjoyed this place and if you’re from out of town, it’s hidden behind the Hess Station off Rte 106, across the street from Berry Hill Rd. and the Teddy Roosevelt statue. Don’t miss it, otherwise you’ll be missing some great food.
