U-Haul of Oxnard

Javier was more than helpful. I came in to rent a truck and tie dolly for my broken down car. I needed to tow it to San Diego, 150 miles one way home. He went out of his way to help us. We met many «pay it forward» people on this trip.

not much to say but i have used this location a few times. all goes well, smooth and fast. Good job.

I rented a car hauler this weekend and I had some issues all the way in Texas at the time I wasn’t very happy but when I got home I explained my situation apon drop off the guy at the counter was extremely helpful and they made things right, at the end of the day I was really happy with the way they handled the situation. It’s hard to find good service now days but with this particular uhaul I was more than happy! I will be renting from them again in the future! Thanks fellas, Tye

I have been renting trucks for over 30 years, the vast majority of which have been UHaul trucks. I have been a very satisfied customer prior to now. When I called to rent the truck it was after hours. The woman who took the call stated that I would receive a 10% discount if I presented proof of AARP, AAA or Military. When I arrived the next day the Oxnard (Saviers Rd) office refused to honor the discount and stated that I should take the truck and «deal with the discount later with corporate». I have now been disputing the charge for approx 14 days. They stated that a $ 30 additional fee would be added if I didn’t settle the account in 7 days. I understood this and started working to settle this account from day 2. The most frustrating part of this nightmare has been the fact that I’ve been on the phone with «billing», «collections», «regional office». In addition I’ve been to the Oxnard branch twice and both times I was told that the manager was unavailable and that I «needed to talk to corporate anyway because although corporate offered my the discount, the branch would not and could not honor it». Finally, I have talked to Lynn in credit collections and she understood the situation and corrected the final bill. Hooray for Lynn. Prior to her, each individual that I spoke to had a similar attitude of «not my job». I will consider Uhaul again in the future, but I will NEVER rent from the Saviers st Oxnard location.

I meant to go to the Ventura U haul, which I know to be excellent, but I entered the wrong store in my GPS and ended up at this place. Another excellent experience. I got 3 5 gallon containers filled for $ 3.49/gallon which I believe is the lowest price around. then got a 2″ ball, and other mounting hardware. They were busy, so I had a short wait, but they got to me as soon as possible. The bonus deal. one of the guys came out and spent about 15 minutes trouble shooting my light connector. I asked how much. and he said no charge. I gave him a tip. and a heart felt thank you.

I need a truck for the week end. I called this U-​Haul here. Spoke to Emanuel Llamas. Very friendly, courteous. A very nice and handsome fellow. His companion employee, Julian Sanchez is like Emanuel. Need to move? Go see these two at U-​Haul.

Great staff, they had me in and out within 20 minutes from start to finish. Always a pleasure to use them when it’s time to move
