So very disappointed. I had heard great things about this place. They gave us lunch menus mixed with our dinner menus. They offer a grilled chicken salad for lunch and not dinner. When I asked if it was possible to order that I was told by the waitress«that they only prep enough for lunch, so no.» She didn’t even bother to go and ask. Honestly it takes a minute to ask and what less than 10 minutes to grill a hockey breast even from frozen? Even if it took longer I would have waited. I don’t eat carbs at night and watch my salt intake. All they had was prosciutto and salami. Also a smoked salmon app on bread. I will never go back!

I’ve been here 3 times. And everytime I receive great service and food. We live in the area and have tried every spot and recently decided that we should look no further. Setebello is our favorite!

This place is nothing to write home about! Honestly there are so many good restaurants in the shopping area, find one with some flavor. I went with my wife for dinner on a Friday night we got pizza and a salad. The salad was pretty good, the pizza was flavorless. That said, the ambiance is nice.

Really delicious Pizza Napoletana!!! The prices are not cheap, but it really is yummy pizza. Service was very good too. Atmosphere was just okay. But we will likely be back next time we are in town!

The pizza is decent, along with the staff. I’m not a gigantic fan of the wine by the glass list(did three of them), but none were bad, just average. The pizza was also a bit Americanized(and sliced when it arrives), sauce a bit deep and cheese a bit heavy. Crust was spot on. A variety of environments inside — table seating, bar seats(TV on each side of bar with low volume), and seats in front of the pizza oven. I suggest the latter for the best experience. Overall a nice place, but nothing really great. But for the area, this is the best pizza in my opinion, at least that I’ve found. I’ll be back for pizza in the future.

Every time my husband and I go to the collection we try out a new restaurant. We immediately regretted every place because ever since we started going to Settebello it has been our favorite spot. The margherita DOC Pizza is my all time favorite with a cold Moscow mule on the side.

We were only in here for a short time grabbing a drink after a movie. Our reservations were for dinner across the street, but man, we wished we would have stayed here. Great, chill vibe. Super friendly staff. Menu and dishes we saw coming out looked and smelled impressive. Wish we lived closer to be able to settle down in this place more.

LOVED the pizza!!! Very authentic and delicious. We ordered the Bruschetta as an appetizer and finished with an espresso macchiato and the tiramisu. Everything was so good, it reminded me of being in Italy! We will be back, keep it up.

This place was really good. We had the bruschetta, prosciutto and arugula pizza, pizza marghertia, tiramisu, and espresso. Everything was prepared very well and tasted great the restaurant itself had a very nice atmosphere. Our server was very friendly but kept forgetting about us even though it was slow in there. Not a big deal but definitely noticeable since I worked service jobs for a number of years in college and I tend to key in on that aspect of our dining experiences. Overall, great place and will definitely return.

Two days after the fact, I’m still thinking about the pizza I had at Settebello. The pie was baked in the wood-fired oven within sight of our table. The sauce was sweet and sparingly applied. The mozzarella and basil were fresh and flavorful. And the crust — thin, crispy, salty. It was spectacular. Surely the finest pizza I’ve enjoyed anywhere on the California Central Coast. The service was lively and responsive. And here’s the bonus: Settebello is right next store to the movie theater. I can’t imagine seeing another movie in Oxnard without eating another one of those pizzas.

Nice place in the Collection area of Oxnard. i hear its pretty new. the Mall is pretty nice with a barrage of places to see, it, or shop. As far as this place, we just came for drinks. i had the cab and my friend had the Pinot. The Service was very nice. the staff were super friendly and were very attentive. the waitress was kind enough to bring us extra bites that the Chef had made, just because. i thought that was so nice of them! from what i saw on other peoples plates, the food looked really good. i would come here to eat again. this place has a nicer more elegant feel. good for dates and nice dinners. nice lighting and good atmosphere. parking is plentiful with a free structure and free lot parking. dont bother with the meters. unless you really want to be next to where you are going…

In my opinion this place have the most authentic Italian pizza in the ventura county. The crust is heavily cooked in a wooden oven, and the topings are fabulously selected. Another masterpiece you have to try is the Arancini on the appetizer menu. To be a curate you have to try the whole appetizer menu … and do not forget you are in a Italian restaurant so you have to try the desserts.. my favorite is nuttela pizza, to fie for. Forget your diet, just try it once. The only disappointment was the cappuccino, not the real thing… not real coffee actualy. Just buy a Starbucks and go to settebello for dinner!!!

I was here with a friend for the $ 1 pizza 2nd Anniversary party. Got here around 4:30 and there was a line(10 people) as expected. Got seated very fast and surprisingly fast drink service.(Negroni is authentic and delicious!) we ordered the Margherita pizza special and I thought maybe it would be a lesser grade pizza than their usual perfectly Napoleon Margherita but to my glee, it was hot and delicious! Our server was Kristen and she is such an asset to her employer! In my opinion Settebello should send her to Napoli and let her take in the magnificence of where the Napoli pizze was born! If you want a thick gooey over topped Hawaiian pizza with jalapeños, go to Pizza Hut. If you want to experience what true Napoletana genuine DOCG Margarita pizza is… Settebello is the place! Kudos to the manager for great service on $ 1 day and for Kristen who backed him up!

Just had happy hour and the food was delicious. We had the margherita mini pizza and the vico and both were perfect. We had a piatto misto which was a meat and cheese platter and the polpette napoletane which is the homemade meatballs that has pinenuts in it was it was also delicious. The service was great too. We will definitely be back.

I saw this restaurant had four stars with 144 reviews, so I figured I would try it. After my experience, I am a little disappointed, and I’m surprised that Unilocal rated this place so high. TL;DR Underwhelming food, unimpressive service. The location is in a nice, central location. The ambiance is great as well: the lighting is nice, the different liquors are lit up which makes it look really cool, and you can see the pizza oven from nearly any spot in the restaurant. We ordered and didn’t anticipate any problems; our waitress brought out water promptly, and my glass of wine came out with it. But then my friend and I waited ATLEAST40 minutes for our food. It was a Saturday evening, but we were seated immediately, and there were empty seats around us, so it wasn’t very busy. Our waitress cited their small pizza oven as an excuse, but people who ordered after us received their food first. By the time our food arrived, my glass of wine was nearly room temperature. My friend ordered the Vico pizza, which came first. It was lukewarm when it came to our table. I ordered the Margherita pizza, and although it was piping hot when it got to the table, it got cold very easily. The pizza was okay, but nothing to rave about. The incredibly thin crust combined with the sauce made the pizza soggy, especially towards the end. The service was also unimpressive. The waitress only came to tell us our food was coming when she noticed that we were looking around impatiently. Once we got our food, she didn’t both to check up on us until we had finished all our food, at which point she asked if we wanted dessert. She didn’t offer to bring a free dessert, or comp anything in our meal, despite the fact that she KNEW we had been waiting FOREVER. I’m not coming back if I’m in the area. I’m bummed that Unilocal led me astray. :(

The Skinny: It’s alright, and with the limited choices you have around the area, it’s not a bad choice for Italian food. Environment: Located in the Riverpark Collection shopping center, you will never have an issue with parking. The whole area is just nice and spacious, even during peak hours. Settebello is located next to the theaters, and the inside of the restaurant is very expansive and open. It mostly has a look of an old Italian wooden restaurant, with a pretty nice bar in the center. Service: If you are going here for drinks, you got some good bartenders who know their stuff. Staff is in general friendly and attentive, though sometimes you can wait up to 10 – 15 minutes for a request for water. Food: If you are here for the pizza, honestly, I’ve had better. My favorite pizza is the Bianca, but for some reason the crust it wa made on felt chewy and stale. It wasn’t terrible, don’t get me wrong; I still enjoyed how light it was. Also had bone marrow there, which was a much better dish. Their happy hour also had better dishes, but not sure if the dishes were good or the alcohol masked my taste buds… Overall: 3⁄5 Not an «average» score by any means. The place does its job in providing an Italian/pizza restaurant in a busy area, and it isn’t too bad. If you are at the Collection and don’t want to go elsewhere, it is still a solid choice. If you have a choice and aren’t too bothered by driving a little further, by all means go somewhere else. I consider this mostly for convenience.
