Simply put. this Chicken & Tri-​tip combination is God’s gift to man. I always order the mixed burrito coupled along with their delicious salsa. You can’t go wrong with anything here… service is fast and great and the portions are well worth the value. Really wish I had a Pollo Norteno closer to home but it’s without a doubt worth the drive when I’m able to.

Me and my family have been buying chicken here since I can remember. To be honest nothing else compares to flavor of this chicken. The price is also super affordable. I usually purchase the meal deals where you get a whole chicken with sides like rice or beans. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it !!

It’s great! Here’s a SECRET: get the ½ lb tri-​tip AND an extra 4 oz side of rice and another of beans, combine them with the juice left on your plate after you finish the trip tip. RICE & BEANS MIXED WITH TRI-​TIP JUICE = AMAZING

My family and I decided to order take out from this location. This past weekend my brother ordered a combo number 5. We called in the order. When we got home and opened the plate, it was missing the the steak. When we called them to notify them that an error was made with his order, my brother was rudely accused of lying. He was asked to return with the order which my brother didn’t mind doing. When he went in the «manager» a tall heavy set man who took my brothers order originally helped him again. He didn’t bother to take accountability for their mistake. He accused my brother of lying and responded with a sarcastic attitude. As a manager he had no sense of professionalism and customer service skills. Their food is usually great however after this experience I wouldn’t recommend going to this location. Overall this was such an inconvenience and a terrible experience.

After a long day of traveling with kids across the country we were exhausted and hungry. We saw this restaurant and pulled in. At nearly midnight est dinner was long over due:). The interior needed a fresh coat of paint and a serious cleaning. We ordered several combos and sodas for our large party of 10. I honestly had no idea what tri tip was but we got a few tri tip meals and a few chicken. Meals came with beans and rice & tortillas. I was sharing a meal with my BIL but once I had a bite of the tri tip I didn’t want to share!!! It was delicious! We found out the next day that this place is a local fave and I can see why. I didn’t expect much from the area and the interior but like they say don’t judge a book by it’s cover… the place was a diamond in the rough for sure. Next visit we will be stopping here.

This is a place Santa Maria barbecue you want to make sure that you get the salsa and the family pact and make sure you have the Mexican Coke it’s very good it’s always packed and you know it’s good because it is Latinos it here and the cops and the fire department, everyone I know that it’s here has the best meal of their life:) enjoy

My favorite Hispanic Restaurant for «Comfort» food. Every Sunday it’s a Norteno Bowl with chicken and tri-​tip. Salsa is good n spicy. Very authentic place. Been going for over a year and I can’t think of anything to complain about so they get 5 stars in my book. (This one is better than their other one, so I’ve heard).

If you want to find an okay spot for lunch in Oxnard, this is the place. I’m not from the area, and I trust this spot most among a select few of others to deliver a pretty good burrito and good service. The burrito was tasty, the chips were fresh and the salsa was just spicy enough for my pallette.

My husband and I stopped in here for dinner tonight. Though he had been here before, I had not, and definitely wanted to try it. We each got burritos, which came with chips and salsa. The chips were light and crunchy, and the salsa was a bit spicy (said my husband; I didn’t try it myself). I enjoyed my bean and rice and cheese burrito quite a lot, and my husband enjoyed his trip-​tip as well.
The restaurant itself is a bit of a dive (there was a noticeable chunk missing from the glass shade on the light above our table), but it is also very clean, with bright, lime green paint on the walls and cheerful colors throughout. The woman behind the counter who helped us was very polite and friendly and our food came to our table very quickly.
The service was good, and the place was friendly. What more could you want?!

Another hidden gem. A friend took me here; fast friendly service. What’s good?
Salsa and chips. Chips are light and flaky, perfect amount of salt. Salsa isn’t strong, but is very tastey.
Norteno bowl. Honestly, I was dissapoitned when it was dropped off at the table. It looks small, simple and didn’t seem appealing. However, the rice was perfectly done, the tri tip option ~ a direct impact flavor AND. the queso-​ish sauce was a great blend.
There are a million fast mexican food options around. This is great because it’s different, is inexpensive, but has great flavor.

Tri-​tip is amazing!!! So juicy and tender!!!
Usually my family and I order to go rice, beans, Tri-​tip and chicken. This time we decided to eat in. Not a bad place but no where near fancy either a little run down actually. Food is delicious but don’t think I will be eating inside again I like eating the exact same food in the comfort of my home!

Hands down! Juiciest Tri Tip I ever had in my entire life! Tri Tip is so juicy when you eat it you are dripping Tri Tip juice all over your plate. You can bite into the Trip Tip and suck the juice out of it. I always order the there Tri Tip plate with Beans and Rice and Flour Tortilla. There Horchata is so delicious. I’m never disappointed.
