I understand that I can’t just say «DO NOT RENT» through Park Place because let’s be honest… We have to rent from someone to live off campus and we have minimal choices. We take what we can get. So, I will suggest that if you do have the unfortunate experience of renting through these people — don’t worry about taking care of the house. They won’t give you any of your security deposit no matter what you do so trash it. Don’t clean, leave a bunch of stuff behind, don’t worry about the walls or the carpets. Literally don’t do a single thing to keep the house in good shape.
This year was awful dealing with them as landlords. It is almost laughable how bad they are at their jobs. Trust me there were many nights we laughed over the mean e-​mails they would reply to us when we would simply request for a broken appliance to be repaired. Renee is a sad excuse for an employee whose job is dealing with people. Avoid speaking with her at all costs, she’s awful. They helped with nothing and were angry if you approached them about anything so we mostly handled things on our own. They fully take advantage of us being college students with our hands tied to rent property and were a complete nightmare to deal with.
Extremely sorry if you have to rent through them. So party it up, leave it a complete mess.
