One of the best small stores in the south. Special attention is paid to new independent releases. Great used selections in all styles. They even have 45’s, something I see less and less of. Get a t shirt too. They are soft.

Record store perfection. This hidden gem is a vinyl lover’s dream come true, nested inconspicuously on the north end of Lamar Avenue in Oxford, MS. Knowledgeable owners and staff have filled the rooms with new releases, to vintage collections, to local artists. Listening stations are set up around the store, some cozy couches fill corners. With occasional live shows and/or DJs, The End Of All Music is by far one stop to take a detour for if you are driving through North Mississippi.

In a town recognized for its appreciation for local businesses, this record store is one of the newest, and best additions to Oxford, MS. The staff here is fantastic, always polite, and incredibly helpful. Though the store is new, the owners have been in the industry for quite some time, and don’t overprice(even though they could; they’re the only record store for miles) or disregard what you might be looking for. They have a small selection of CD’s, and a pretty good selection of new vinyl(especially Fat Possum stuff), but go there for the North Mississippi Blues. They are bursting from the seams with it, and it’s all awesome. Of course, every record store has their Sun Studios stuff, but they’ve got a good bit more of that because of our location. This record store mirrors this town: polite, quaint, but still ready to turn up the volume when necessary. Check it out.
