Great fried chicken. Batter perfectly golden and nice and crispy with moist meat. Prime rib prepared to order-​medium rare. Garlic smashed potatoes were a nice change. Topped off dinner with the turtle sundae. Enough to share! A local recommended this place and I see why.

Good food, nice staff, always clean. If you go in during peak times plan on waiting. Menu has lots of variety. They do offer call ahead take out which I use often. Some of the tables inside are a little to close together for my liking.

We have been going here for years and have NEVER had a bad meal or service. Independently owned cafés like this are few and far between anymore and we appreciate this gem of a family restaurant!

Try this place. It’s great. Breakfast all day? Yes, please. My husband is very happy with his 14 oz prime rib steak and eggs. My Greek omelette with real lamb is perfect. We’ll be back.

This is probably my favorite place to eat. The staff is really kind. They always make sure you’re doing alright and you never see them unhappy. Everyone working is always smiling and having fun. The food is great, always nice and hot when you get it. And you don’t have to wait long for it at all. Very nice family restaurant.

Amazing family style dining! Try their popcorn salad!!! homemade cheeseburger potato soup is the best around. I also dig any one of the homemade deserts, a must visit if you are anywhere near Owosso!

Well, let’s see… I wanted a lighter lunch so I ordered a bowl of the chicken and dumpling soup. The server brought a bowl to the table that looked nothing like what I ordered. Turns out, it was cheeseburger potato. Sent that back and the right soup arrived. Except it had not a single dumpling in it. Server said «sometimes they dissolve». She then came back and informed she had found a few dumplings in the pot but apparently decided not to bring them to me. Meanwhile, my dining companion had ordered the pork chop meal but asked if she could have just one pork chop as a senior citizen meal. The server accommodated this request but never bothered to mention it would only discount the meal by $ 1! For the extra dollar, she could have fed it to her dog if she couldn’t eat it! Of course, the sweet potato fries added .70 to the dinner but the missing dumplings didn’t deserve any deduction.
I wasn’t expecting fine dining but I do expect to get what I pay for!

Very nice restaurant. Fast, friendly service, and very good food at affordable prices. The place is almost always packed but that’s a good thing for the owners. Very good sizable portions, and if you ever in the O I recommend going here

Decided to try this mom and pop place. I ordered the fried chicken dinner and was surpsurprised that it was actually very very good. The lady at. the register was very nice and I really liked the décor of this place, it felt like I was in the 1960s. I def will be going back to this place.

Great breakfast place! Only complaint is that it is quite popular and you can wait for a long time. Décor could also use a little updating. But the food is good and the service friendly. We take visitors here frequently.
