You can’t go wrong with china wok. Perfect for those nights where you don’t feel like cooking anything. Favorite order happens to be General Tso dinner plate. My only recommendation is if you want it spicy make sure you repeat it several times to the person taking your order.

Why did I not know this was here. ALL of the so called Chinese food joints in the immediate area are overpriced tasteless crap. This one is the closest to a real authentic tasting Chinese joint that I have found in New Town Owings Mills area. Only gripe is that it appears to have the yellow fried rice that the other places in the area have. I have tried shrimp egg foo young for lunch and dinner for two separate days and it is pretty good. Very skimpy on the shrimp though. I counted 3 for lunch size and 6 for dinner size. Pretty good. Will return.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Unfortunately this place used to be delicious and fast, but we ordered the Beef with Broccoli and it was so fatty and chewy, it was inedible. I called the store and they said they wouldn’t do anything about it. BEWARE — This place used to be good but now… Eek! Methinks not!

Cool place to go pick up a quick bite to eat. The portions are generous and I feel like the menu is reasonably priced. Also like the fact that they use all white meat chicken. I’ve only had the orange and GT chicken with fried rice, so I can’t speak on the entire menu. Wait time was pretty quick. My friend and I ordered our food, walked to a nearby store in the same shopping center and when we returned our food was waiting on the counter :-).

Normally I order from the China Wok on Owings Mills Boulevard because I live closer, but I was just getting off work and was closer to this one, so I thought I would receive the same quality that I get from the other China Wok. I ordered some Kung Pao Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, and shrimp egg rolls. The chicken and shrimp were lacking from all the dishes, and the Kung Pao Chicken consisted mostly of carrots. The taste of all three items were very bland. From now on I’ll stick to the Owings Mills Boulevard China Wok.

So much better than Fortune China we use to go to. People are nice, General Tso chickens platter is extremely good with a nice thick sauce, not the runny kind. Shrimp toast and crab wontons are awesome and come with the dipping sauce, the other place I mentioned never included it

The food was horrible, i ordered pepper fried steak. A large order. They gave me a big box of peppers and and onions with hardly no steak. And the steak was rubbery and taste funny. I also order a shrimp fried rice with jumbo shrimp. They gave me under cooked rice and baby shrimp. The last thing i purchase was shrimp egg food young. They gave me 3 egg foo young patties with 1 tiny shrimp in each patty. I will never go back to this place again. I already threw away the menu. It seems like they cutting corners on the food we buy from them. 3 differnt orders and all 3 were bad. That is a pattern, i dont want any part of this horrible chinese rest. Now as i complete my review im beginning to get a stomach ache.

The location is conveniently near the supermarket. After I go food shopping — who wants to cook? Chinese it is. The food tastes fresh and the service is pretty good. Since I am a creature of habit AND I am particular about my food. For this restaurant, I stick to the pork lo mein and steamed rice.

This was our first time eating here and even though we only had plain fried rice and veggie egg rolls, it was good because it is very possible to mess up these simple menu items. Also i have a VERY picky toddler and he liked it.

Pretty good place for your basic convenient Chinese food restaurant. I usually get shrimp and broccoli and I love how they use nice, thick shrimp and not little, puny ones. The portions are good and the prices are comparable to other Chinese food establishments. I’ve always had great customer service. Recommend to all.

I live five minutes away and always pick my order up after its called in. I use to go here at least once a month for about a year. Somewhere along the way the food just started going down. On my last visit I ordered shrimp fried rice and the shrimp where RAW. You could just look at them and tell they where raw. I was so disappointed I didn’t even call to complain I just tossed it. Considering the quality has been constantly going down I don’t think I will be returning.

Almost every other week or two I may frequent to China Wok. The food is good, they are fast with my orders and they are to perfection. Yes, they have gotten back up before with orders. My food is always hot. I am glad it’s still standing in the Owings Mills area

This place is one of the better options in the area. The chicken is on the verge of being too salty but the rice doesn’t have a lot of salt, so paired, it tastes ok. Delivery took 30 minutes — not too shabby. The shrimp egg rolls aren’t that great, they barely had any shrimp.

I called in and placed an order. The lady on the phone was rude and snappy. Starting off with«What do you want?» I told her that I don’t have a menu and this is my first time calling. She still seemed impatient. I ordered the orange chicken with white rice. It was not 10 dollars so I added a soda, egg roll, and shrimp toast. My order came about 45 mins as promised which seems long for Chinese but I’m not from around here. The egg roll was greasy and I did not find any shrimp. I could only tolerate one bite. I got fried rice which was so lacking in flavor tremendously, it should have been white like I asked for. I did however appreciate white meat in the orange chicken. However moving forward I probably won’t order from them again. The lady over the phone was enough to deter me from a second mistake.

Not impressed. Service is quick but the food is flavorless and way too oily. Really disappointed. The chicken fried rice was not good, only could have a few bites. Maybe I had them on a bad day. They are always busy though.

We live in Sparks and have tried at least a dozen places in HVall. But none come close to taste, quality and balance of ingredients of CW. Far less greasy and salty than most places too. We travel out of our way at least once a month. Seafood and Chik Pork r delectable. Portions and price very good.

Better than mediocre and is typically my go to place to eat. Quick service and decent prices

The chicken used in the lunch specials is all white meat, which I think tells you something about the quality at this place. I’m a fan of the orange chicken — which is almost all chicken and next to no fatty/greasy breading. The specials around $ 5.35 and under(plus tax), and come with white or vegetable fried rice. Egg roll or soda costs extra. Only a couple of tables if you want to eat it, but the space seems clean and airy.

This was our«go to» take-out Chinese when we lived in New Town for 7 years. We haven’t found a comparable place yet in Ellicott City and miss New Town a lot! The food is good and consistent. Prices are reasonable. I heard that good Chinese restaurants have the longest lo mein noodles and these are pretty long! Favs include general tso’s chicken and Hunan chicken.
