El Tequila

The good things — service was good even at 6 pm. (it filled up right behind us). Meal was delivered in minimal time. Drinks were served quickly too! and refills were fast! But as soon as we finished it was like they were trying to run us out for the next party (total elapsed time was 51 minutes).
Food quality was less than stellar, much less. Quality was spotty. Salsa and guacamole were tasty but Chips were packaged not fresh. Chicken fajitas must have been boiled chicken to speed up process –it was tasteless. Veggies (tomatoes, bell pepper and onions were mush not crisp skillet cooked). Other meal was enchilada and tacos. Enchilada again was something similar to TV dinner kind. Tacos were in fake packaged shells.
That said, the price actually wasnt bad — dinner for two not including cocktails was $ 28 with tax.
It seems a good place for big loud parties and including children– too loud to really talk over unless you get a booth in the alcoves on the edge.
Overall, I wouldnt go back when looking for real mexican food. We choose this place, not knowing the area, based on Unilocal reviews.

What a disappointment.
Starters– The restaurant was not very busy. But for some reason they were cramming all the customers into one corner of the restaurant around a table of about 12 people. A very noisy corner now.
Main course– They got my order wrong. I did tell the waiter, but I elected to eat it anyways because I was hungry and tired of waiting. The steak tacos were very small. I get larger tacos at the taco trucks in east Tulsa.
Desert– I ordered a vodka and grapefruit juice. I got a vodka and cranberry. Then on the bill, it was listed as a «special drink».
They did not get anything right, and the meal was expensive.
Never again.

My wife and I have been coming here for over five years now. Never once have we had bad service, bad food or anything other than the best dining experience possible. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. I have tried about everything on the menu and I have my favorites but I’ve never had anything I didn’t enjoy. This is my favorite restaurant in Owasso and my favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. Five stars is not enough.

What a great place to eat and very affordable. I love eating Mexican food! They are also expanding with a patio. Can’t wait until it’s done.

My family and I loved our food. The portions are large and reasonably priced. Service was good and friendly. Will definitely go back for the huge burritos!!!

Got here by accident, but I don’t regret it at all. The vibe is good, waiters are very attentive, and food is great. I tried the carnitas, and they were really good. I only have one comment… Even though I liked the music they were playing (merengue and salsa), that’s not Mexican music… That’s Dominican and Cuban. But other than that, I really liked the place. Will definitely come back whenever I’m in town.

Best Mexican food, and on a busy day you might get your food in 10 minutes instead of 5. Awesome service, everyone there seems to love their job. We go all the time and have always had the best service and food

Best Mexican in town. The have a good beer and tequila selection. They can be Tex Mex or straight up Mexican. It’s good!

We always go here when we have company. The foods consistantly good and service is excellent.

A bit pricey, kids meals don’t include drinks, $ 1.75 each adds up! But great food, great waiters, good service!

I’ve been to this place MANY times since it’s been in business. It is freaking DELICIOUS! Really yummy cheese sauce on their chimichangas. The garlic shrimp (camarones al ajillo — $ 9.99) are BOMB and very spicy. Yum.
The service is always fantastic, especially if you’re a pretty girl. Hehehe. (They don’t have female waiters fyi.)
