St Luke’s Lutheran Church & School

I have never been to a worship service here, but I have to thank the chuch for hosting some fabulous and free music events!
The Orlando Philharmonic, the Brass Band of Central Florida, the UCF symphony orchestra, the Orlando Concert band, as well as the St Lukes choir and others perform in this beautiful, acoustically and visually magnificent sanctuary. You can get the concert schedule here:

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and School is located in Oviedo, FL off of Aloma just past Chapman and before you get to Red Bug Lake Road. The campus is quite large, as is the Church. We’ve attended services here for several years as guests and my folks recent move had them becoming members here. All of the pastors deliver a nice message and are eloquent orators.
The regular services are very nice and the holiday services can be quite impressive. The music program here is lovely, with special programs and services featuring an in house or visiting orchestra. If attending a holiday service or special program when attendance is higher, arrive early for parking (and getting a seat!) and know that there is additional parking around the back of the church.
