They took over four weeks to «fix» a simple repair for a pair of boots with a heel repair after quoting one week. They couldn’t even find my boots in the shop, and it was clear they had barely even started. Long, frustrating story later I ended up just taking my boots somewhere else, where they were repaired within a day. I wouldn’t trust them or waste your money.

I have been taking my shoes here for heels and minor repairs for several years. They do a great job. For ladies dress shoes, it is $ 13. They also will fix the heel (for example, I had a leather wrapped heel that was messed up — they glued down the leather and polished it for no extra charge). There are probably cheaper places, but it is very convenient to get in and out (previous place I went to was in the Oak Park Mall) and they are open on Saturday until 5. FYI, they do not take credit or debit cards so either bring a check or cash. I also had a minor tailoring job that they did for me too which turned out great. I am really hard on my heels and like to keep favorite shoes for several years. This place has helped me do that.
