Elegant design, brilliant craftsmanship. Rose is a treasure. Save your pennies, it’s worth it.

We recently bought some very expensive couches from this location. When selling these «special ordered» couches we were not made aware of the return policy (can’t be returned), which is weird, because they don’t sell anything off the floor anyways. So, when we had issues with our very expensive couches, we were asked to call the manufacturer and explain to them our issues. For the amount of money you spend, you expect the retail store to take care of their customers and the issues with the products. There is no accountability for sales or customer’s satisfaction. Very disappointed in their sales representative, as we just bought a new house and could have furnished our entire house from them. They not only lost us as a future customer but also our friends.

I love modern furniture, and more accurately, mid-​century modern, and minimalist furniture. So I was stoked to find House of Denmark. They carry high end pieces at prices typical of the style (e.g. full retail price, plus delivery fees), so don’t go looking for any steals. I was really hoping they would have the popular Eames, or Wegner chairs in the showroom, but their dining chair collection on the floor was a little lacking, and they had way too many chrome-​y pieces on display that make me think ‘Ikea’ more so than ‘Denmark’. — Of course my husband was like a kid in a candy store. What is it with boys and chrome/​glass?
That aside, they did have a few pieces that are really hard to find elsewhere (even online), including a gorgeous teak dining table that my husband and I are still considering, so there are some diamonds in the rough. My overall impression was just lukewarm; the inventory on the sales floor wasn’t quite what I was expecting, or hoping for. Considering that I need to furnish an entire house, it was disappointing to only find one piece that really fit what I was looking for.
I will say that the service was very helpful, friendly and not the least bit pushy, which is worth an extra star in my book.
