The aura of this store evokes clean, timeless designs and ultra-luxe handcrafted furniture, but sadly, the customer service doesn’t reflect the same quality and consideration. Upon entering the store, my friend and I were not greeted by the receptionist behind the desk, she simply stared at her computer. OK. Maybe she was busy. Perusing the store, you get the feeling of upscale(i.e. overpriced) luxury furniture and accessories. A $ 179 pillow. A $ 1699 lounge chair no bigger than a folding lawn chair. No biggie, their items cater to a select demographic. Once we made it about halfway through the store, a sales woman(Adrienne) spotted my friend with laser beam eyes trying out a chaise lounge chair pricey enough for a down payment on a home. She vacantly asked how we were doing, which we responded well. She then asked if we were shopping for anything in particular. We answered no, just browsing. She awkwardly stood there for a good 3 minutes, watching me glance at some headboard. Her presence was the least bit comfortable/helpful, and felt more like a hindrance to enjoying the store. We then strolled into another room of the store, and sat down upon another ornately made bed complete with more overpriced pillows. Just as we begin discussing the(faux?) throws that seems to litter the store, she appears again in the door way, hesitantly watching us. After a moment, she once again asked us if we were shopping for anything in particular. Again, we responded no. Fast forward to another room, and another bed, for a third time she asks if we are interested in it. Somewhat exasperated, my friend politely replied he was considering purchasing a bed in the future. She retorted what his budget was, which was considerate but somewhat prying, as all the merchandise was clearly marked with price tags. He replied vaguely something not too expensive. Any who, long story short, the sales associates(none of which ‘helped’ us but Adrienne) seem pressing and disinterested in interacting with you unless you have money flying out your pockets or pulled up in an S500. I probably won’t return to this store, it was an interesting, but somewhat bizarre/impersonal experience being followed throughout the store simply because we were browsing. If you like sales associates pandering for commissions on handcrafted furniture, this store will be perfect for you.

Seems like the contemporary furniture selection is dwindling, something I have come to expect here in good old middle America. Well, I guess props to them for still holding on to some modern pieces in a sea of traditional furniture buyers. Really good mirrors and accessory options all around.
